Z690M-ITX/ax ATX Full size 1000W power supply 12900k cpu nh-d15 cooler with two 140mm fans 3080ti 319mm 3.5 slot card 3.5” hdd 2xM.2 ssd 180mm front fan 120mm rear fan 60-70c gpu and cpu temps while gaming on ultra settings at 1440p There’s a tiny bit of room for a longer gpu, forget about a taller gpu. At 3.5 slots the gpu is resting on the bottom of the case and pulling in fresh air. The Nh-d15 is maybe the biggest cpu cooler this case could support. The top of the cooler is touching the top of the case while the bottom fan of the cooler is resting on the gpu and there is still just enough room to fit a rear case fan behind the cpu cooler. While most of the bottom cpu fan intake is blocked by the gpu and the top cpu fan is blowing into and out of the power supply, I’m happy with the thermals. Also gpu temps went down after installing the bottom gpu fan I couldn’t be happier with this build. ... show more

  • This is a classy case
Color: White - Clear tint
I really like the mini-itx form factor and have built several over the last few years. This one is kind of stretching the size boundary. It's about the same size as a typical mid tower, but this makes the build much easier and it has better airflow than anything I've used before. My i7 stays amazingly cool on air. Downsides - that big 180mm fan is kind of noisy. Can't tell if it's due to the construction or if it's just wind noise generated by those big blades. I may swap it for a pair of 140s later if I can't get used to it. And every other case I've used has those annoying front panel connectors in a sleeve for convenience, here they are all loose and a pain to connect unless you have doll hands. Overall though, great case - recommended! EDIT: The loud fan noise I was hearing was from a defective "smart" power supply that went stupid. The stock fan works great and keeps everything inside nice and cool. ... show more

  • High-quality mini-itx case...
Color: Black - Solid
I love just about everything about this case. Running cables is easy and finally I can fit a full-sized CPU cooler on my i5-8600K. The case arrived with a broken fan, but the reseller was easy to deal with and quickly arranged to replace it.

  • Great ITX build for a modern office.
Color: White - Clear tint
If you're looking for a case that still has the general PC style of large cases, but on a smaller scale, this case is for you. Fun to assemble and looks great.

  • Stripped Screws
Color: White - Clear tint
I tried to remove the cover plates in the front from the Fractal Design Torrent Nano to install 140 mm fans. They machined in the screws too tight. I wound up stripping a screw entirely. I tried the rubber band trick, it did nothing. Other tricks did nothing to help either. This is absolutey ridiculous and pathetic, there was no reason for Fractal Design to put these in so tight. ... show more

  • Great in concept but worst experience in my reality
Color: RGB Black - Light tint
So the reviews are great. I found because this case has unique positive aspects you see reviews focused on them which is why i bought it. But all reviews I diligently watched failed to cover my negitive findings. Pros: Smaller footprint to larger front air volume throughput. Itx but can use an ATX PSU (great benefit if already have one) Minimal fans to install, cuts down cost of premium build PSU up top, out of the way where some smaller builds put them in wirled placement compromising airflow. CONS - The PSU bulkhead makes it impossible to put fans, radiators, and achieve any vertical airflow. It's all front to back..which is ok if those is your strategy. - rule out AIOs because putting one at the bottom is just terrible practice on the pumps (or if doing a GPU its gonna be too tight) and modding the front you lose that beneficial powerful airflow - now the real problem. You need to go air cooler. This case is the worst I've ever seen or could have imagined to be paired with an air cooler. Not only do you need to contend with a premium air cooler covering the entire ITX board and almost all ports, but once you tediously get around that and put the mobo in the case you realize that you have to overcome diety like obstacles to connect the 4/8 pin power supply, cpu fans, others. Now if you manage to do any of this before you mount the mobo, and more impressively after, any further issues, ever, you are yanking the entire build apart just to get back down in those crannies thst a butter knife would barely fit.. because of that $&# bulkhead that leave ZERO soace between mobo mount position and the bulkhead. - just as crazy is the cable management. On the reverse size there is decent cable menetment. But on the motherboard side the holes for the cables to come through is too close to even an ITX board where using the most parallel hole wasnt practical..especially if you had to use 90 degree adapters for the motherboard...which on an ITX with an air cooler good chance of those. So now the wiring which usually i do immaculately is sub par at best. - on the reverse side to manage the cables, it's adequate however there is no place to hide this mess and so why in the world Fractal made both panels, particularly this one transparent glass is beyond me. - another issie with my build was that with no discrete GPU this is a disappointing case. There's a massive void in most of the interior...bottom and right side. So to me makes little sense if not doing a GPU (the case is on the large side for an ITX), even less sense if you are doing a GPU, and an absolute nightmare for air cooling beyond the stock cooler. If you are even a semi experienced builder, are particular about the outcome, consider skipping this case. I am so disguisted with regret that I just tore down my build this weekend, bought another case, will rebuild, and hopefully sell this thing to get 30 cents on the dollar back...good riddance. Very novel concept, many benefits on paper outweighed by the realities of building. ... show more
