There's nothing horrible about this heat protectant, but it didn't live up to my expectations. I normally use the tresemme one, but I wanted to have more options so I bought this one. I love the packaging. It's super cute and the nozzle sprays really well. It comes out as a puff of fine mist. It also smells really nice, like warm vanilla sugar. However, performance wise, it fell flat for me. I purchased it with the intention of using it on dry hair before curling, and after applying it, it left a slight tacky/sticky residue on my strands. Nothing horrible, but I didn't particularly like that. That might not happen if you apply it like a leave in conditioner on wet hair, but I already have a lot of leave in products and didn't buy this for that purpose. I'm surprised no one mentioned the slight tackiness. Maybe I'm just being picky, but the tresemme one doesn't leave any sticky residue on my hair. It makes it feel smooth and silky, and it's half the price. I'll just stick to my tried and true. ... show more

The product worked great and smells good!! I used it before drying my hair. It did eliminate any "fly aways". Only downside was that it left a greasy type look; like I hadn't washed it in a few days.
