This costume runs small. I am a size 8 and it barely zips, and I would worry about splitting the zipper -- forget wearing layers under it. I could barely fit a thin thermal shirt or normal weight tee. Too bad it doesn't come in several sizes. It's cute and fine for the money. I paid about $22. Costumes can be so expensive! It's not enough by itself, you'll need leggings or maybe yoga pants. ... show more

Fit - The one-size option fits a modern 4 or 6. I think the product description said 12. A vintage size 12 or maybe UK? Not modern US. I'm 135 lbs, 34 D, 38" hips, and it fits because it has a little stretch. It's the length of a mini dress at the longest points, so unless you plan to flash people, it's not really a dress. Quality - cheap thin poly stretch velvet. Wings are poly satin. The faux fur is not attached in all place around the hood. Easily fixed, but still. :/ All things considered, it will be cute with leggings and it's comfy. If it's cold on Halloween, I'll put a long sleeved undershirt on. ... show more
