This board is ideal for a beginner or intermediate rider. Both my 7 year old daughter and 14 year old son ride it. The board is 31 inches long and 7 and a half inches wide. It is the perfect size for them, plenty of room for them to place both their feet on the board. The board is solid, durable and sturdy - gives good support. The wheels glide smoothly on pavement. It's a decent size board; good for his age with room to grow into it. Designed with beginners in mind. And has great balance.
