    • Good but takes a bit to get it set
This is my first non-press primer inserter. It does a good job but can some times be finicky. It will work with several calibers but you have to get the prongs set just right or you will be seating primers at an angle and having an issue. I also had a challenge with the first primer in the batch turning sideways a couple of times. Outside of that this thing is great. When you have it set up for your casing I found it easier to hold onto the casing while putting the primer in. This way you have a straight in shot with the primer. It seats at the correct depth, and without any effort. Casings even in a standard case holder are loose. With this unit the case is horizonal. So just hold it level with one hand and use the other hand to push down on the lever. You will be surprised how fast it is, all with no effort. Not an easy to use tool. I’m in my golden years and the hands not as strong any more. Thought this would make it easier but it was not the case.
