The Texas heat is unbearable this year, we had to get a portable unit and I did a very botched job trying to secure the window around the hose. This solved that problem. I didn't measure it properly so we had to use a saw to trim it down a bit but it works well and gives us peace of mind that no bugs will be getting in :-) The bug cover for the hose is nice too. Our unit has an extra hose for water runoff and I wish there was an extra hole for it but we have it set in a water jug which is working just fine. ... show more

I'm thrilled by how easy it was to install this in my single-hung window without any tools or adapters. It took about 5 minutes from opening the box to being fully installed. The 6" outlet hose from my laser's inline exhaust fan fits perfectly, and the window sets firmly on top of the plate with no fume blowback whatsoever. Now I can leave the hose vented out the window full-time, but can very easily pull it in during extreme weather. No more wrestling with my janky homemade contraption! 5-stars; I highly recommend this for easily and cost-effectively venting your laser. ... show more

    • Bath replacement for old fittings

The original fittings for my old floor style air conditioner were problematic because they kept breaking at the hose connection ring and there was no way to fix it. These window panels just connects itself to the hose and you don’t have to have that extra piece that seems to break. The air conditioner works fine but I needed to have new fittings and a new hose and this works perfectly and fits really well in a vertical window if you glue the panels together at the overlap connection point. It’s not meant for vertical installation but if you glue or screw the vertical panels together it works great. ... show more

Installs in just a few minutes, currently 40*f and the cold isn’t seeping through, although not 100% air tight. I used packing tape around the borders and it’s good to go!
