I got these because I needed something a tad bit higher than what I had and also something that I hoped would live up to Florida weather for a bit. FOREHOGAR's folding fence is exactly what I was looking for! Not only is it a sturdy, well made border fence that comes apart easily for versatility, but it high enough that I can actually use this in the garden for short pea varieties and then wash it because it has a thick coating. I wasn't expecting that, but it's great to find another use at this affordable price. This fence is high enough to keep my old gal dachshund out of the flower beds and still have a virtually unabated view of the pollinator gardens, etc. I loved removing the older rotting wood picket border fence for something that very clearly will last a lot longer. The stakes into the ground are definitely deep enough to sink and hold this for virtually any purpose. It is not a thin wire type base but a more actual thinner stake into the ground. If your soil is very heavy you might find yourself wetting the ground to push these into the ground all of the way but that's exactly why I love them- they won't fall over in our first tropical summer storm or rust out from wet soil exposure in a few months. I have used many of these types of fences in the past and am really pleased with this one. The price point is a bit higher than some until you consider you are getting 20 feet and also consider the quality of the product.
