I chose this kneeboard because of the location and arrangement of the pen holders and phone pocket. It arrived without the pen holders and with an elongated phone pocket! There is no place to store pens and my phone gets buried in the pocket making it clumsy to get out. Apparently the company has, for some reason, changed the design. They need to update their images on Amazon. Had I known about the change, I would not have bought it. The quality appears to be good and it has several other features that I like. I like the Velcro blocks that can be added or removed so as to adjust the angle of display. I like the zippered removable flap to cover the iPad. It fits my leg okay, but may not be tight enough for a female leg. Self adhesive Velcro strips were included to put on the back of the iPad case so as to make it secure and adjustable. The clipboard and clear strap are both worthless. I'm still debating with myself whether or not to return it. ... show more

I made the decision to return this kneeboard because it ultimately didn't match the original description in the amazon listing. The pen/pencil holders are in a different place, the layout is slightly different. Also, the velcro is starting to fail on the clear plastic strap after one use. Very disappointed in this product and the associated company. They should be ashamed to sell this junk. ... show more

It’s the only one I have ever had but it works awesome and you can use it with a notepad or an iPad. It works great with both and I’m really happy with it. I have used it for almost a year and it still works great!

I love the product, but in practicality, I can’t flip over my iPad to use my clipboard when documenting my times for waypoints and flip back to my iPad to track my flight path due to the yoke hitting it. I will need to figure out a different way as this is the closest thing to what I need.

I just purchased this kneeboard. This is the third different kneeboard that I've ordered, and this one is by far the best. I'm using the iPad pro 11inch ipad. I did like other people have done and got a cheap thin ipad case that can hold the ipad pencil. My kneeboard came with 2 additional pieces of velcro that I used to attach my ipad to the kneeboard. The only downfall so far is that I can't get the kneeboard tight enough on my leg. I'm thinking ab sewing additional velcro to the strap to make it tighter. I'm just glad I finally found a kneeboard suitable to fit my 11inch ipad, without it being ridiculously bulky. ... show more

It holds my iPad just fine...but the strap that holds the iPad in place goes over the front of the screen. In practice you can't fully use the iPad touch screen b/c the strap is in the way. It's especially irritating when trying to run through a checklist or zoom into a specific airport in flight.

The pen holders where part of my consideration when I decided to buy this and pretty disappointed to find there where are none, also it seems quite big (coming from a small cheap clipboard only knee board) It would be nice of it was a touch smaller and same with the elastic strap and seems too long too. Other parts are well designed and seems pretty quality. It will definitely do the job but I would probably be much happier if it was sold as advertised and also it was around maybe $20 bucks cheaper. ... show more
