Dec. 25, 2018, I love this drone. The drone is fast, very bright, and very easy to control. There is a big problem I wished I realized before I gave it to my teens..it's light and very fast, with not GPS tracking devices. My kids were out side with it and the silly thing took off, even though they were trying to bring it back. I would definitely by a tracker for it... Jan. 3, 2019..So We got home from our very long Christmas trip (4000 miles) and our wonderful surprise was the company must have read my review and sent me a brand new drone.. I originally bought this drone for Christmas 2016 and it broke within one day. I didn't review the product until a year later. The company immediately contacted me and wanted to make things right even though it was a year later. They were insistent on replacing the drone and sent a new one right away. My son was so happy. Changing my mind from 1 to 5 stars! I purchased the drone because my son loves drones. We bought it and tried it but it didn't work as expected, meaning that it would start and turn on but it wouldn't fly. I was approached by the customer service team after I reported the issue and started the return process. They immediately offered to refund my money and to send me another drone. Not only did they replace the product in a record time but they kept on following up to make sure I was satisfied. The new drone works perfectly. It flies very high and fast and you can make it do crazy flips and turns. We all love "our" new toy!! ... show more

Please read the entire review so you can see how the company assisted us and went above and beyond what was expected. The first part of the review is the negative review due to a manufacturer defect. However, it was remedied with the most expeditious and kind company and I couldn't recommend them to you any more highly! ORIGINAL PRODUCT REVIEW: READ THROUGH THE EDIT!!! We charged the battery as indicated and when we went to attach it to the drone, it was impossible. The connector was trapped beneath the cross piece. We had three different adults check it out (one of whom puts items like this together as part of his job) and decided that it is a manufacture's flaw. Our nine-year-old son was really upset. This was a gift that he was very anxious to receive and we wanted to fly it tonight. No such luck. It is packed up and ready to be returned tomorrow. LOVE THIS COMPANY!!!! Once USA Toyz read our review, they immediately sent us an email with an apology and request to send us a new drone at no charge. Who wouldn't take them up on that offer? I couldn't believe how wonderful that would be for our little guy. We received the new drone within days and my son was very anxious to get started. This time, we immediately noted that the defect had been corrected and the battery linked just as it should. We figured it all out and then took it out into the field to get started. Oops! My son couldn't wait for me to join him and claimed that the drone got caught in heavy wind and he couldn't find it. We looked for hours, with no luck. The day after our mishap, USA Toyz had send a follow-up email asking us if we had received the drone and how we liked it. I explained what had happened and apologized that I couldn't review the product, but was sure to write a response to their exceptional customer service. KEEP READING. YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS! Once they received my response, they asked if they could send us ANOTHER DRONE! I am not kidding! I am not paid to write this and have zero affiliation with this company. I am just like you. I purchased a Christmas present for my little boy that didn't work. I chose to review it to help other people like me and planned to maybe try another product. Now I want to help YOU the consumer, as well as support one of the best companies on Amazon, USA TOYZ. Just today, I received another email, letting me know that the drone is on its way and should arrive by the end of the weekend. I also received some helpful hints to make sure that this doesn't happen again, which I probably should have looked at more closely the first time! Oldest son has been eagerly waiting for a drone! We opted to try this one before investing a ton of money and find out he doesn’t enjoy it. Total hit, even with the adults. My husband pretty much stole the controller as soon as he came home. If your kids are waiting a drone, this is the best and most affordable thing we’ve found! Test it, see if they enjoy it. This is my son's first drone and he loves it. It's easy for him to fly, setup, etc. and it's not too expensive - so after one or two supervised flights - I feel just fine letting him fly / charge / take care of on his own. He's gotten good enough at it that he can fly it inside the house (though we haven't encouraged that). He and a buddy flew it the other day with each taking turns shooting nerf gun bullets at it / dodging the bullet attack - pretty fun! I suppose each battery seems to last roughly 15 minutes - he usually plays with it for about 30 minutes (two batteries) but that seems about his attention span for most activities anyway. Really fun to see it fly at dusk / night with the drone lights on it. Very pleased with the purchase. ... show more

Loved it until the remote stopped pairing with the drone. Very easy to fly, I got extra batteries and each would give me a solid 15 minutes of intense flying. Easy to see at night, and very durable. 2 stars because the remote failed after less than a month of having it. edit: Wow! The manufacturer responded within a day of my submission about the remote. They sent another one free of charge. Their customer service is above and beyond. I would highly recommend getting this for anyone 10 and up.
