This is better than the smaller sized ones, the 2 mm those are suitable for facial piercings as they are very small, the 4mm and 5 mm are the best for body/ back dermal piercings. The 4 hole base is way better that the regular dermal anchor, as it is flatter, thinner and had more space for the flesh to grow through, securing the anchor better, I bought these to replace my previous traditional dermal bases, no regrets. ... show more

I have a dermal on my cheek next to my eye and this top sticks out a little too far for my liking. It's pretty, but seems to catch onto my shirt while changing, or even worse, my hair if wearing it down.

I gave it two stars because at least one is working out so far - but I'm probably speaking too soon. The first one I put in I had on, without exaggeration, fifteen minutes. When I look at it again the gem is gone. I've bought these dermals from this company in black before and had the issue of both dermals falling out at random. Clearly I haven't learned my lesson.
