But, the half a teaspoon for 8 ounces is not (up to acceptable). It needs to be a whole teaspoon for 8 ounces water. Not a big deal though. That bag says it has about 400 servings. So it really has about 200. So, divide the price that bag costs by 200. And the price per glass is some crazy low number. This is great. I've been drinking cold coffee everyday for years. And I want a change. Well, really, it was my digestive system that wanted that change (heartburn and stuff). This tea on ice is great. It dissolves great in just the tap water temperature. And then the ice. excellent. I only would that they make me some (English Breakfast) and (Green) variants. If I want to do the flavors I mentioned I gotta pay like 50 cents for 8 ounces. If I buy the (200 servings this bag will make), at 50 cents a serving. That is $100 I am paying. If this company would make me the kinds I want, for the price they are asking. Wow. I bought this for the purpose of skin care. It dissolves very quickly, has a good potassium level and a nice mild smell. Gave the skin a a taut invigorating glow. Next I think I will try it in a shortbread recipe as read in the advertisement.

Fair warning, when the package says use a half teasoon trust it. I like green tea, so I thought I could use however much I wanted in my blender bottle. Nope, just nope. It was nasty. I had to dump it out. The next time I tried it, I followed directions, and the taste was much better. It's just powdered green tea. I wasn't sure what to expect with this tea. Green tea is different from your regular orange peko type of tea bags. I haven't tried this cold, yet. But I did make some cups of hot tea. It dissolved quickly, so there's no waiting time lije for your traditional tea bags to steep. Note - a little goes a long way. Depending on the size of your mug, you could add 1/4 - 1/2 TEASPOON of tea. This bag should last you quite a while. I preferred the taste with some added honey and lemon to it. I haven't been drinking it long enough, yet, to feel the health benefits. But at least I'm getting there. ... show more

Not really the company's fault but this was not the product I expected when referring to green tea powder. I thought it was Japanese matcha powder but it's a green tea like sencha or chinese green tea that is more yellowish green in color. I thought it was matcha coz of the photos showing add to cakes or smoothies and it was green? I posted a photo to compare the color of this product vs a green tea powder I got while visiting Japan. In any case, as I got over what it was. This instant green tea is convenient - no more tea bags or loose leafs. I've only had it hot and the powder dissolves well in drinks. I'm not sure what kind of green tea it is but it has a somewhat bitter and sweet flavor profile. It is not particularly floral, nutty or grassy so was not sure what exactly it is. It reminds me of the nonspecific green tea bags we get from Ten Ren. I can see myself using this mainly for instant tea or perhaps experimenting with creative tea drinks like those you get at the boba shop. Though it has a good flavor, there is something about loose leaves and tea bags that seem "fresher"? But tea bags create waste and tea leaves need some extra effort to clean so this is a good option too for convenience. Definitely worth a try. ... show more

This green tea powder provides strong flavor and taste even with just a little of it. Simply add it to a cup of hot water and you're good to go, easy enough. However, it does taste a bit bitter to me and not sure if that's because I'm more sensitive to bitter taste.
