This air filter was easy to install on a 2015 Tesla model S. It fits well and has a charcoal filtering area that helps with any smells outside coming into the cabin. All in all this was a great purchase.

As pointed out, the Tesla version is not that expensive at all, but having this delivered rather than making the trip to the Tesla SC is why this makes it a good buy. Not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews stating it is OEM and fits perfect? In my 2014 Model S, width is correct but depth and height are short which will make dirty air leak around it. They even state in the product description that "All dimensions are measured by hand, there may be small deviations." So the seller can't even take measurements? I'm dumbfounded by the actual stated dimensions (which wouldn't fit at all)... Stated dimensions: 6 x 5 x 1 inches Actual dimensions: 9 1/2 x 6 x 7/8 inches OEM Correct measurements: 9 1/2 x 6 1/4 x 1 1/8" That is a 1/4" GAP above the filter (see picture). Product on Left, Original Tesla filter on Right. Another negative...the filter is surrounded by 5/8" foam and frame, greatly diminishing the surface are of the filter. I got suckered by the low price and HEPA and Carbon filter additives. These are completely worthless when it sucks in unfiltered air around the inadequate sizing. I'm returning it. ... show more
