The case was a great fit and was put on in a few minutes! The reason for that and something I missed reading was that the top portion of the case is also a screen protector. So you'll need to remove your existing protector to install the top half. If this is a problem or you already have a protector the case is actually two pieces and the bottom can be slipped on independently. The bottom half isn't too bulky and adds a good level of grip. Greet option to make this phone as slim as possible while still offering protection. The good, it will protect the phone from a hard fall. The bad, the hinged door is the weak spot. I'm on my third one of these cases due to the hinges breaking on a hard impact. It doesn't break on every fall, but if it hits just right it can break. I keep going back to it because it did its job while being very minimal. I had a heavy otterbox style cases that were huge and the hinge still broke on a fall. Unfortunately with this phone most cases have a hinge so this will be a legit problem no matter which you choose. This one looks good and protects the phone while keep it less bulky so it will remain my go to case. ... show more

I recently bought a Samsung Z fold 4 and was looking at reviews for different cases. I can see how this would be a difficult phone to make a case for. I was originally going to get the Samsung brand thin case with kickstand but alot of reviews said it wasn't thin and was heavy. Long story short,I decided to give this case a shot as it came up a few times and I'm glad I did as so far,It's everything I wanted. Something thin and semi rubbery for grip. I've read a few phone cases use a type of glue and this case came with rubbery tabs vs glue but I didn't use them. The case went on easily and allows the phone to open easily and the hinge cover isn't overly large. I like the rubbery texture of the case to absorb shocks If/when I drop the phone. As some people have said,due to the raised edges on the front screen,you may have difficulty at first hitting buttons near the edge but I find it's fine and adapted quickly,even with fat fingers, and there's really no way around that If you want the raised protection there for the screen . I did turn on the screen sensitivity on the phone to accommodate the screen protector as others have said and have 0 issues with the touch screen. The kickstand works good and that's what I really wanted along with protection. So far I'm really happy with this case. I'll update in the future If anything changes. Doesn't feel super cheap and the stand is nice. I wish it did not have plastic over the outside screen because using this case with a screen protector already on makes it hard to press the buttons, and removing the screen protector that came with it doesn't really make sense.

I just got this case, so these are my initial impressions. The instructions that come with the case mention to peel off the protective film from the screen protector part of the case before installing. It appears there was no protective film that came installed, unless it’s there and I’m just missing it. Second, the instructions mention “small rubber strips” that look like they’re supposed to be installed on the corners of the front screen protector. My package didn’t come with any rubber strips. Once installed on the phone, the fit seems to be pretty good. I opened and closed it a few times and the front cover seems to stay on, which was a problem with other cases I’ve used. The part of the case that covers the phones hing is on a hinge itself. When you open the phone to tablet mode, the hinge cover flattens out to be inline with the back of the phone. I have some concerns that the hinge cover’s hinge might break over time, but we’ll see. A side effect of having the hinge cover is that when the phone is open in tablet mode, the hinge cover sticks out a little further than everything else, which means the phone won’t lay flat when it’s in tablet mode. I don’t think this will be much of an issue for me, but it’s with mentioning. The kickstand seems pretty flimsy, so I’m a little worried about it’s durability, but it’s nice that it’s there. I wish the kickstand was a little more adjustable, so I could make the phone lay more flat while I’m in tablet mode. The built in screen protector for the front screen has a very faint grid pattern when viewed in direct light and some other angles. I’m guessing this has to do with the touch functionality. It’s not very noticeable when the screen is on so I don’t think it will be much of an issue. Despite the negatives I’ve mentioned, I’d like the case overall. I hope after I use it for a few days that it fits my needs. I will provide and updated review if anything is worth mentioning (good or bad). I’m giving 4 stars for now, but if it performs well I’ll update to 5. ... show more
