The only thing I noticed was that the screen wasn’t as vibrant as the screen when it comes to colors but after a while you get used to it and don’t really notice. I say good enough as doing it from home, there could be issues. One issue is that face recognition will only work if you replace other parts as well, and secondly, you should not trust the phone to go under water anymore as a new one can. Once you replace the screen, the water seal will never be as good. Even a phone that looks intact, you never replaced the screen, but it has fallen on the hard floor a number of times, most likely it is no longer water tight, so keep it away from the pool. Once water gets inside your phone, 90% of the times it is permanently damaged. I would buy this product again for sure, but I know the limitations. It will be a good working phone, as long as it is kept dry.

The screen is certainly not as HD as the original and there is a strange yellow spot at the bottom right of my screen now however for what I paid, I’m not complaining! I also went ahead and changed my battery at the same time so now my 2018 iPhone XR has a new screen & battery so it’s literally like a new phone now. You honestly don’t need a video or guide to do this if you’re mechanically inclined or work on watches etc. just be careful with the screws and organize them well in a silicone tool tray or tape them on some paper and label it. It’s very basic, almost like a puzzle or the game operation but easier. Remove screws, remove cables, scrape gasket and change over ear piece. Repeat on installation. Very simple.

This phone screen was easy to install fits the phone perfect and it came with a screen protector and tools. It also came with a qr code to scan to watch a video to help with the process. It also came with the glue to hold the screen on place so it will have good durability and lasts. Didn't check the scratch resistance though.

Phone fell off the counter, hit the upper right corner and messed up the graphics. It started doing weird things so I decided to DIY the replacement. Overall, it isn't that difficult BUT, you need REALLY good eyesight (something I do not have). The screws are VERY tiny. I had a hard time putting them back in after completing the install process and testing the phone (it worked!). There were no directions in the box. I did watch the recommended video that was pretty good. It could have been better for a novice to follow. I had a hard time figuring out how to replace the seal and the protector as there were no directions. I'm pretty smart (for a 60 yo woman!) so I figured it out. I ran the video in slow speed pausing between for each step. I wound up with a couple small pieces that fell out of the old screen and I couldn't figure out where they went. Doesn't seem to affect the phone. If you need to save money, DIY but be very careful. If I had to do it again, even though I know how to do it now (and it isn't that hard), I would take it to a professional!
