    • Perfect fit, a little chunky but it's nice protection

I already had a screen protector on my phone so I did not use the included protector (yet). The case fits great -- it was a little tight going on but that means the phone (an iPhone XS) fits snugly inside. I haven't had any problems fitting charging cables in. My only slight grievances are that it's thick enough that it's almost tricky to get a fingernail in to switch it from silent mode to noisy mode, but given that I almost never turn noisy mode on, this isn't a big problem. Also, the thick buttons for the volume rockers are a little stiff fresh out of the box, which makes things like taking screenshots a trickier proposition -- I have to really squeeze to get the Up Volume and Right Side Button to trigger at the same time, but I've got the hang of it now. I suspect that as the plastic softens up, this will be a bit easier. But you should expect to have to dig your nail into the buttons a little more than before. Final thought: I keep my phone in my pocket and this slides in and out very well, but it also stays in my hand well when I'm holding it due to its texture. They did a good job striking a balance between "sticky" and "grippy." ... show more

This case reminds me of an Otter Box Commuter series case, it's very protective without being too bulky. It is a bit bulkier than some cases, but not so much that it won't slide easily into a back pocket. It feels very protective and has good raised edges to protect the screen and camera. The screen protector wasn't all that great, it felt very flimsy. I ended up installing my own screen protector from another company. But overall, the case is what I was going for, and I'm happy with it. It feels good in your hand and very solid. ... show more
