This case replaces an old deteriorated iPhone protective case which has served me well for years of both normal and extreme use. But I can tell this new case is way more rugged! Sure, it’s a little more chunky than my previous one but that extra plastic polymer meat means more protection from extreme conditions like that occasional drop on the hard concrete floors at Home Depot or sharp gravel on the ground. I really like the dust cover that protects the charging plug. It will keep out the detritus in my pants pocket that inevitable clogs the port and leads to charging problems. Ok, the downside of this product is the multi-step process to peel off the rubber bumper edge, unsnap the 2 halves of the casing and separate everything into pieces, then insert your iPhone and get everything back together correctly. It’s definitely a snug precision fit requiring careful attention to detail. One assembled correctly, everything fit perfectly and all the iPhone buttons worked through the protective bump-covers. And, of course, it’s Mag charge compatible. 5-Star Rating is for real!
