This case isn't perfect, but I don't think there's better value to be found. The Good: 1. The frosted, matte, and translucent back looks really nice. Especially with a Bay Blue colored phone. 2. The magnets are really strong and are embedded on the inside. You won't feel them on the back of the case at all. The case works really well with Anker magsafe battery packs, magnetic mounts, magnetic popsockets, and a magnetic wallet with a loop. 3. The cutouts for the usb-c port are large enough to accomodate anything you'd plug in. 4. It comes with two screen protectors. Installation was pretty easy, but mine didn't have a cutouts for the front camera. Still, for being included with the case, I can't complain. Face unlock and the fingerprint sensor both continue to work perfectly without adjustment. 5. The case has a soft-touch feel and is pretty grippy overall. 6. The case seems really protective and fits the phone well. The rear camera bar is protected with a raised surface and the front has a raised lip as well. You can safely set your phone down on either side. The not so good: 1. The power and volume buttons aren't that clicky or nice to press. This is the biggest downside of the case, and if you don't care about this that much, you won't really have any problems. 2. It's a little heavy (but so is every other case with this much protection/material). 3. This is really nitpicking, but the G logo isn't vertically centered with the magnets. I'm sure this is just a consequence of the internal coil placement and that this only surfaces due to the transparency showing it through. I would easily pick this over most of the other cases on the market. The Mous super-thin is maybe an alternative I'd consider for the lighter weight and minimalism, but if you want protection, you can't really go wrong here. I've included a photo, but it was cropped from a shot taken in a mirror, so it's maybe not the best photo, but it should give you an idea of how the translucency shows through. ... show more

So far, this case appears and feels like very good quality. Have not tried with magnetic car mount, finger clip, or wallet yet but plan on orderibg each of these for accessories for this phone. Will update the review when I have checked them out. But at this point the caseans screen protector iitself is exactly what I was looking for this this new phone. ... show more

The magnet isn't as strong as expected. As the Pixel 8pro is a big phone, it should need a stronger magnet.

    • Sleek, very good screen protector, terribly weak magnet
I liked that this case is made of good material, not cheap plastic like a lot of other cases. The screen protector is good and the easiest one to apply so far with no bubbles. However I will return this product because the magnet on this phone is VERY weak which is a deal breaker. I have a phone holder in my car that's identical to the one in the product description picture but my phone kept falling off when I attached it using this case. While the case is magnetic, the magnet is extremely weak and it will not be able to hold on to a magnetic car holder like the one picture. Very disappointed. ... show more

Finally a case that I can use non magsafe wireless charging with. I've tried several magsafe cases and none work with my pixel stand or other wireless chargers. This case does! Plus I can see the beautiful Bay color of my phone. Beyond happy with case! Plus adding magsafe attachments is awesome!

Case feels good. It has the right cut outs however the screen protector didn’t stay in place and started to lift. Ended up using both the protectors and both had issues. The packaging itself doesn’t come with easy aligners to help with install and you are pretty much eyeballing it. I am good at it thanks to countless installs have done. ... show more

The case fit perfectly, same with the screen protector. Case has a soft feel to it, not slippery. Comfortable to hold, no sharp/hard edges. I bought the magsafe version and it hold well with the magnet.

The phone case is nice. I like the way the edge of it feels. It's rubber, but it isn't that sticky or hard plasticky rubber. It's a soft, velvety feeling rubber that is nice to hold. Not sure I'm a huge fan of the semi transparent backing. I usually stash a backup $20 behind my phone, but this case shows it off. I'm not sure what kind of protection is actually provides since I, luckily, have not managed to drop my phone on anything hard to test it out. All-in-all, the phone case is a nice one and feels very nice in the hand without making the phone feel too bulky. ... show more
