The assembly fits. However, there is no way to properly adjust the beams. The main light points down to the ground and the high beam points up into the air. I have adjusted the main beam to its maximum height but then the high beam points down the road blinding oncoming cars. I have it set to use the high beam as a normal light but then the main beam beam points down to the ground. The first pic is the main beam's maximum height. The second pic shows the difference between the main and high beam. Right now I have to drive like this since the original is broken and cannot be reinstalled. Additional information: The bezel for the main beam jams up against the inside of the headlight preventing adjustment up. Also the upper pivot point is not inserted all the way. If it were it could probably be adjusted properly. See additional pictures.

The item does come with daytime running light and blinker bulbs, but no low or high beam bulbs. The metal clips that holds the bulbs into the harness are crap, so reuse the factory ones. Also, there were 2 pieces that were not included that I had to scavenge from my old assembly. I got lucky because those pieces hadn’t been smashed or else I would have had to go to the dealership. Don’t throw any part of your old assembly away until the new one is installed. The fitment was great, and install easy. And yes you have to remove your bumper, so might as well change all your bulbs while you have easy access. I drive a 2014 Jetta SE.

This light fit like a glove, however we had some slight issues. How the light bulb fit in the original headlight was different from the replacement. Took some time to get the light bulb into the replacement. Also, the alignment is off as far as the lights. On the new replacement, the light is slightly more down than the other one. But overall this replacement is excellent. Dealership wanted to charge me $750 and this replacement was only $90 and took about an hour to get in. I would recommend it. Thank you!

The assembly will come with three bulbs. You will have to reuse or replace the low and high beams. Aiming adjustment hex / philips head combo mechanism almost immediately failed and began to strip. In the end I basically had to use a flat head and dig into the hole to turn the gear. If you need a replacement on a budget then these are adequate but know there are pricer alternatives with much better build quality if you can spend $150.

I have a 2017 Jetta and this light is for 2017-today. However, they don't tell you that the lights don't match up with the newer model. That means the stupid light on my dash will always be on to warn me that one of the lights in my old headlight is out. That's because the new one has two lights. Sad

I didn’t realize when purchasing this headlight that it does not have LED light strip where the original Jetta headlight does I cracked one headlight and bought this one and installed it on the after that I realize that they do not match the original ones off the car
