When I purchased new bamboo cutting boards, I decided to protect them by using this oil. I am happy to say that it works great. This food grade mineral oil is great for the price. It's thinner than other oils and scentless. I used it on a cutting board and it seemed to work just fine. I preferred the thicker oil which seemed to coat better and had a scent. For basic use on wood to preserve and protect it works just fine.

I bought this to freshen up the cutting board in my RV. It worked so well, I started looking for other things to use it on! The most dramatic change was on my outdoor bench. The wood was dry and sun bleached. This mineral oil made it look like new!
