I am a happy user of memory foam mattresses for 10+ years. I fully realized this futon would not have mattress level memory foam; but there is almost no padding at all on it, and it is very uncomfortable to sit on, let alone to use as a guest bed. I am 5'8 and average weight, so I there is no reason for it to be this uncomfortable for me, or for my 45 pound dog. The media could not be loaded. Color is a very neutral greige color. More gray than green which I like. Substantial and well made. Foam is hard so I use a pad to top it for sleeping. Easy to assemble. Four screws attach each half and four legs screw in. If I can do it anyone can lol. Worth the price for me. Using it in my disabled hubby’s long term care room for sitting/sleeping because no room for regular bed. This futon totally exceeded my expectation. First, it is separated into 2 pieces in the package. One person can carry each half upstairs easily. I've had a futon before where you could feel every single spring and wooden slat in the middle - this one isn't like that at all. It's plus and comfortable. This was delivered in very nice protective package and assembly was straight forward. Only legs needs to be install which is very easy. Size of seating area same as the product description.
