  • Works AMAZINGLY!
Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Whoever said this doesn't work, didnt follow directions, period. First application of this and bam! Apply your base color, let dry. Apply crackle medium, let DRY. THEN apply your top color. This started to crack before I was even half way done with painting on the black. Totally works!

  • Works great if you follow directions
Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I painted my wooden shelves on my industrial pipe shelving unit. It worked wonderfully. I am so happy with the results.

  • Go to Lowe’s instead. This is junk
Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
This is not my first time using crackle paint.’ I have been using different brands for years. I know you paint the underneath color, let dry, paint the crackle, let dry paint top coat. I normally buy from Lowe’s but my local store was out so I just grabbed this bottle off of Amazon. This stuff is complete crap. Painted 3 ornate frames, used basic cheap acrylic craft paint for the top (which is what I always use) and barely any crackle. Won’t buy this brand again. Lowe’s Valspar is a 100% better product, it’s the same cost of this and you get more. ... show more

  • Do you know how to use this product? (Here's some tips--but this isn't the best crackle glaze.)
Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Most people don't know how to use this product--and it's because there are no instructions for successful use. Here's the scoop: Lay down a FLAT paint background, not satin, not acrylic, not glossy. Dry. Now paint the crackle glaze over it. Dry--but don't wait more than 4 hours. Now paint FLAT paint over it--again, not acrylic, not glossy. Do NOT continue brushing back & forth--do it once touch it up, leave it. Do NOT go over it again later. If you do, those spots will not crackle. Painting acrylic or semi glossy over the crackle glaze will fail. also, thin top coat = fine cracks, thick top coat = big cracks. This product--very thin for crackle glaze. Tried 2 coats, still no good. For real success buy the brands faux finishers use. Sherwin Williams also carries faux finishing products. You will be paying more. ... show more

  • If you are a crafter like me you know how attached we get to something ...
Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have used this before so it isn't new to me. The store around where I live stopped selling it and I was worried about being able to find it , Amazon saved the day. If you are a crafter like me you know how attached we get to something that works great and we love so going without isn't a option...lol The price wasn't to bad either and shipping was fast. It arrived with no damage and was packaged securely . If you are someone who has never tried it ,get some you will love the effect you get with it. I like making worn or shabby looking picture frames, dollhouse furniture , real furniture, and even on painted mason jars. There is almost no end to what you can do with it. ... show more

  • Works well with proper use.
Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
There are some tricks to get a good crackle. You must have a flat base coat in a darker color. It must be 100% dry. You then apply the crackle medium. Thin coat, finer cracks, thicker coat, bigger cracks. Let it dry completely. Then, you paint your top coat on in one coat using the least amount of brush strokes you can. If you continue to go over it with your top coat of paint, it will not work. Though not the best crackle medium around, it does a great job for the price. If you use semi gloss, satin, acrylic, it will not work. I used chalk paint to achieve the effect pictured here. Works just fine. ... show more

  • Easy to use
Size: 8 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Literally as easy as: paint a base coat, let it dry. Paint a coat of this crackle, let it dry. Paint a last coat of a contrasting color, let it dry. Watch the crackles appear. I used a moss chalk paint for the base coat, crackle medium for the second coat, and oatmeal chalk paint for the top coat. Worked beautifully. This stuff is super affordable too. ... show more

  • Great product...great seller
Size: 4 Ounce
The product is great. I have used it many times without any issues, but I want to give a shout-out to Junipers. My first shipment was an empty mailer and an apology from USPS. I contacted Junipers and they responded quickly and with customer service in mind. I will definitely use Junipers again. I did receive my 2nd shipment today. All is good. ... show more
