This is my first-ever cane. I love how quick and easy it is to fold this cane and unfolding is even faster. I used this cane at Disneyland to transfer from wheelchair and loved how quick it was. There is an elastic cord inside, and when you unfold it a quick shake and it usually reassembles itself without other action. I could fold it up and it fit in the mesh pocket on back of ride, which gave me a greater feeling of independence than having to wait for staff to bring to me. I had many compliments on this cane’s nifty quick folding and unfolding. The end is hard and durable and shows no signs of wear after months of use. However it is loud and can be slip on the hardwood floors in my home in placed down on angle. The handle is comfortable and I use to help pull up pants after using restroom as I cannot bend after back surgery. The tip does not seem removable, so am looking for a soft rubber cover to use inside. I have not had slippage outdoors. Regardless, this is a great cane for the price that can fit in a medium-large handbag, and perfect for travel and transfers. For indoor use on slippery floors you may want a different cane or find a tip that fits over.

It’s really easy to fold or open. Works great and can handle any amount of weight that I put on it. The handle helps to not risk dropping it. It’s extremely lightweight.

Slight bend when pushed hard. Sharp sectional pole rims. Handle for a small hand, hard plastic, slippery, and uncomfortable (mitigated with a racket grip tape). Yet lightweight with foldable convenience. Suitable for travel albeit for intermittent use.

The pros: This cane does extend and fold easily. I could adjust to suit my height of 6'-2". The cane is affordably priced. This sums up the virtues. The cons: I have 2 primary complaints. 1) the product quality and 2) the stability due to the hard plastic tip. The item I received had sharp pronounced seams in the handle from the manufacturing process. These dug into my hand such that it was uncomfortably upon first use - and painful after just 5 minutes of use around the house after receiving the product. Additionally, where the black handle meets the gold trim band at the top of the cane the pieces were misaligned revealing additional sharp edges. The hard plastic tip at the cane end was slippery on my interior floor. While this could be resolved by replacing with a higher quality, rubber replacement cane tip, why? This would only add to the expense, and you would be almost as expensive as some other offerings. My recommendation? Unless you literally couldn't afford more than the $11 I paid for this item, choose another option.
