They advertise this item as a single pc. 6' folding shelf. The first time I ordered it, there were 2 -3' long shelves. But after a bit of thought, these two would work better for my application. The outside Amazon box had 1 gauge on. But the vendors box was fine. When I took and unpacked the first shelf. I was mad. Scratces from a utility knife everywhere, and other scratches too. Because of a surgery I was going through, I didn't return it right away. But I did before the 30 days. Upon filling out my complaint, a new one was getting ready to ship. When the second set arrived, it too had knive scratches, but not as bad as the first set I posted. I would of gave them a 5 star if the new set was perfect, but I'm satisfied with what I got. The material used to make this is very thin and flimsy. I don't see it holding up well with everyday use on my food truck. The design is poorly thought out also, the mounting locations are 27" apart. Every truck I've seen has studs placed 16" apart why choose to place these at 27"? Only reason I can see is they would have to add another mounting location to the shelf and that adds cost to the shelf. The little plastic plugs and screws sent with the shelf are not adequate and I wouldn't trust them to hold the brackets on the outside of a truck going down the highway. I am sending this poor choice back to Amazon. ... show more
