This chair is perfect for lounging! Assembly was easy and simple, clear easy to follow instructions. I appreciate the thoughtfulness behind packaging each individual piece in a lettered bag, but also that the end hardware on the chain was wrapped to prevent any scratching.I love the fold in cup holder, while its capacity isn’t very heavy it’s perfect for a small beverage or can. The quality is nice, it’s a thick dense plastic material that is very durable. I’m 155lbs and my husband is 215lbs it holds both of us without any flexing in the chair. The black is dark and doesn’t appear to fade easily in the AZ sun. I use this chair for catching some morning sun, the fold out foot rest makes relaxing so easy. It’s a great value for the money given its great quality, I would recommend!

Very relaxing chair! I really enjoy this chair and to be honest, I'm not usually a fan of Adirondack chairs because they are hard to get out of! This chair wasn't like that though. The slant didn't seem as extreme as most Adirondack chairs and the sturdiness of the chair and arm rest made it easy to get in and out of without struggle. The wide armrest is so nice to set my drink/phone on even though there was a nice size cup holder as well. The chair material is odor free and very heavy due to the very nice quality HDPE all weather material that it is constructed with. The vibrant black color looks amazing with the faux wood finish and works perfect with my black railings. The retractable ottoman slides in and out easily. There is definitely a learning curve to folding the entire chair up, and it is not easy as the chair is heavy. I do not plan on folding it up again until the end of the season for storage, but it's nice to know I have the option to if needed. After pricing other Adirondack chairs, I would say this is a good buy as it is made with heavy materials, folds for storage and has an ottoman as well.

This outdoor chair looks very nice and is made of a weather resistant plastic that looks very similar to wood but is much lighter and won't rot, won't have peeling paint, and should not fade as quickly. The chair is surprisingly comfortable, it's a bit narrower than I like (I'm pretty heavy though, 350lbs) but I found that the uprights on the sides are wide and flat enough that they don't dig into my thighs like many folding chairs that are made of metal tubes. I weight limit listed for this product is 400lbs, and it feels like it doesn't have any issue with my weight. This chair has a built in cup holder that can be attached to the right hand arm, and it features a foot rest that can be extended or retracted completely out of the way under the seat. The chair can be fairly easily folded for storage, and when unfolded you secure the front legs with a pair of pins. Assembly was fairly easy, and the directions were adequate. There are some somewhat odd choices though, for instance some of the screw hole are not really large enough for the intended hardware and you have to let the screws sort of self-tap there way through the plastic which takes a lot of extra effort. I recommend using a drill or electric screwdriver since many of these screws are very long and take a lot of rotations to get them fully seated. I also feel like it was a very odd choice to use screws at pivot joints rather than shoulder bolts or pegs, I worry that some of the screws might get a little loose over time, though they did use nylon locking nuts at least so that should hold fairly well. My main concern with this chair is that the plastic is slightly more flexible than I would like, most of the chair is built solidly but the front legs are fairly thin and not reinforced the way the arms, back, and seat are so there is a little more flex and wobble there than I would like. I think they should have made the legs thicker, or added reinforcement like the arms have. I don't think I can get any of the screws any tighter without just compressing the plastic so I don't think the issue is that it's too loose. I'm not really worried that the chair will break, it just doesn't have solidity that I was hoping for. That said, over all I think this is a fairly nice chair and it looks great. My wife also likes it, and we are considering purchasing a second one so that we have a matching pair.

Amazing price for this quality ADIRONDACK chair. It has a retractable ottoman..which I will say is kinda hard to pull out and push back in, but I love that it has it just need to work a little bit more on the design. Other that this chair is amazing! It’s easy to put together and comes with everything you need…including hardware and tools. I used a drill and bit which made it faster to put together..it comes with a bit. It took me 45 minutes from getting it out of the box to putting it together. Very sturdy and great quality material. I love that it’s foldable which makes it easier to move. It’s 33 lbs. don’t have to worry about it blowing over easily. Great color. Low if any maintenance.

Let me preface by saying that I’m not a furniture builder by any means. I struggle a bit. But this chair took at least an hour. The directions are a bit confusing. While you do get a manual, the schematics of it don’t really make sense. Once built, it looks like a nice chair. It does seem to move around a bit, even after tightening up the bolts. For the price and for how long it took to build, I would maybe look for something else. I'll still give it 3 stars for a good looking chair.

I was curious how comfortable this would actually be and it ended up being better than expected. The seat has that classic Adirondack lean so it feels relaxed without feeling like I am sinking too far back. Folding it up is straightforward and makes it easier to move or store when needed. The material feels durable enough for outdoor use and not like something that is going to crack after one season. I have sat in it for longer stretches and it holds up comfort wise. It is one of those chairs that just works without needing adjustments
