It is a matt foundation, so I added a light dusting of my Marc Jacobs setting powder, which I never used a lot because it was too illuminating but over this is perfect. I chose #4 which is a perfect match for my winter complexion, but I will get darker shades for summer. So happy I decided to try this. Also no redness or adverse reactions at all. The media could not be loaded. I promise when people are complaining about a good product, it’s all them, and not the product. I can ASSURE you this makeup is AMAZING. Full coverage but not cakey, it’s not a thick makeup but covers all of my sunspots better than any expensive foundation I’ve had before! I’m going to continue purchasing this and make myself a subscription for sure! Buy it! You won’t regret it. The price is awesome! And I’m feeling confident and showing less of my crows feet! Average drug store quality foundation I’d say. The bottle is very attractive and it dispenses well. Ordered a neutral shade and was very yellow on my skin. It’s hard to buy online and match your skin tone. Poor coverage for pores. Can’t return it, I’ll see if my daughter can use it. **Update** was able to return, thank you!

***below is my initial review. Here is my updated review>> I finished the bottle of foundation rather quickly. Couldn't for the life of me understand how I ran out so fast. I just ordered another a couple days ago, because well I like it. I opened the box and the light hit my bottle just right. There is 1/3 or less product in the bottle!! Explains why I had to reorder so quickly!! I attached a photo with this review. I marked it with a sharpie in case you can't see. The line is the bottom of the product..not the top. 😳 I will now go back to IL MAKIAGE because for $50, I get a FULL bottle of quality foundation that lasts 6-9 months. ***STAY INFORMED BEAUTIES*** I have been using IL Makiage for the past couple years. Great stuff...just can't afford it anymore at $50 a pop. So, I searched and searched, and found this. At $15 I was skeptical, but the reviews were promising. When I got it, I used it asap. It was runny. I thought it would be terrible. Nope. It was PERFECT! You don't need very much, because the coverage is outstanding! Over a few days, I applied with my fingers, a silicone applicator, sponge, and brush. All of them were great, but I do prefer the brush. It's not shiny..it's definitely more of a matte finish (great for my skin). It doesn't cake up over imperfections and fine lines and wrinkles. I only need one "layer" to feel great. If youre up in the air...do it! You will not regret it. This foundation "should" cost more, but I'm so glad it doesn't

I love this foundation, it's very easy to spread because it's a thinner consistency. I'm older and this gives me a smooth natural looking finish. I don't like the feel of a lot of foundations or CC creams, so this lightweight coverage is perfect for me. I chose the Tulle shade as I'm fair. The Linen was much too yellow. I used a flat foundation brush to apply after applying a thin layer of primer. I aim to get a back up bottle in my shade while at a Sale price, lol.
