I was a bit concerned with a couple of reviews that suggested this foam was easily compressed and so I ordered the 6" thick foam, rather than the 4 to 5" foam I really needed. Ha - this was a mistake on my part. A 6" x 24" x 72" section of foam is a big piece of foam and while it is soft, excess compression is definitely not an issue. So, two things: (1) buy the size you actually need and don't worry about compression and (2) don't worry about any distortion during shipping - as soon as I opened the shipping carton, the foam expanded (essentially immediately) to its true shape. ... show more

I'd love to give this a 5 star review because the foam was fine for what I was using it for but I returned 1 of the 2 that I purchased and was refunded only half of what I paid for it. They called it a "Restocking fee" which I feel only refunding $50 of the $95 is a pretty expensive restocking fee. Absolutely absurd!! The foam was still in the package and had never been opened so it had not been used or damaged. Anyway buyer beware, only purchase exactly what you need and KNOW you will be keeping!! I did contact the company hoping they would make this right but never received a reply. ... show more

    • SOOO worth it!! so worth the money!!! VERY good foam.
I am so happy I ended up buying this one! I was so confused while searching for the right foam! this product is very beautiful, exactly what I was looking for, very comfortable to sit on and very good quality! It does not smell like anything! I was so worried it was going to smell like some chemicals, well I was just so wrong! the seller is also very professional, answered my questions in a timely matter and was very helpful when it came to picking the right foam. overall, I am a very happy costumer!     • Saved my flat couch cushions

I had originally bought this foam padding to make a pillow for my cat and dog beds, but they didn’t like padding. I think they didn’t like it because the foam was firm and wasn’t fluffy so they could burrow into it. I wasn’t looking to make any seat cushions and I agreed with my pets that the foam was too stiff for a comfy pillow. I was starting to think I was just going to have to trash the foam and be out the money I had spent on it, but then I noticed my couch cushions. We have a bad habit of crushing the couch cushions down when we are sitting down and they were getting pretty flat and didn’t have much shape left to them. I cut the foam into the same shape as the cushions and stuffed it into the pillow cases, it was perfect. The foam fit in the pillow cases with no problem and you can’t even tell that they are in there. Now my couch cushions look as good as when we first bought the couch. I think the cushions feel much better with the foam because they have more structure and actually offer some support. In the picture the cushion on the right has the foam added and the cushion on the left is without the foam. You can easily see the difference between the two cushions. The foam looks and feels like it is made of good material so I don’t think I’d need to replace it in the next few years. If I ever need to plump up any other cushions for furniture I’d purchase this foam again because I got more than enough foam to fill up two couch cushions and it was a good price for the quality and quantity. ... show more

*Update, update* Its dec 28 2021 and this foam is still amazing. Ive purchased another for extra squish. Its like a 6 inch mattress! *update* So im on chemo, and i am on this foam 24/7 esp since the virus hit... and bought this for the couch w/ wood slats where it reclines to be more comfortable. Its the only reason im able to sleep. this pad has yet to lose density and im no feather. Love this foam pad. Will buy another when i can afford it for extra extra comfort! :) reccomended 10/10. Nice. Came fast. No smell....... sturdy and does what i need it to. Yay! ... show more

    • Great for redoing a sofa

My sofa fabric is still in good shape, but the cushions were shot. I bought this foam after doing some research in hopes to extend the life of the sofa a little. The instructions I read on another site were right as far as rounding measurements up to the nearest whole inch (since the old foam has gotten compacted over time). This foam seems to be nice and dense, but still comfortable, so I'm optimistic it'll last for a while. I ended up cutting the foam to the right size with a box cutter. Wasn't a perfectly smooth edge, but once you wrestle it into the cushion pouches it's not noticeable. Also, getting it into the old sofa cushion covers can be a bit tricky - it's a job that's much easier if you have two people vs one (though is doable with just one if you are able to sit on the cushions the long way to slightly squish the foam down, then pull the fabric over little by little alternating sides). ... show more

We used this product to replace worn out couch cushions. It did not have an odor and was very easy to cut to size. So far we are very pleased with how well it is holding up!
