I guess I get to be the first review. I bough this for my PLA filament storage because I have a small spot to put it in, and I can fit about 10 rolls per shelf on its side on this. This shelf, having the connectors only in between the shelves and the haste with which things are manufactured nowdays, is not the best and not the worst. I knew this was going to be the case ahead of buying it, but this was the best shelf I could find for the pricepoint. This type of assembly is not as stable as say something that has a solid outer metal frame, which I would have preferred. However, I also had a hard time finding one in the size I needed. This shelf does ok on hard floor. I don't know that I would recommend it for carpet unless you plan to use wedges to stabilize it. I don't think I'd recommend it for a bunch of books. But it's ok for what I need it for. A positive note is that the connecting rods are metal and not plastic.

These are great shelves, a useful, good-looking addition to my office. All parts were included and intelligently organized in the compact box; it's a wonder how everything fit. Metal rods and fiberboards all have nice finishes, with only a few, negligible blemishes. I've build lots of modular furniture in my time. Everything here aligned and connected perfectly. I finished this in just under 25 minutes working alone. *BUT*, several of those minutes were spent trying to decipher Step 1 (see photo), which reads, "Screw and fix the No.1 bolt (4 PCS) to the top of the foot-rods." Didn't make sense. There isn't even a part called a foot-rod. I eventually skipped to Step 2 and quickly built the shelves. I now think Step 1 might have called for sticking the cushioned foot pads under the bottom board. Not sure. Oh well, I'm happy with the shelves and will forget about my shaky start building them right after submitting this review. Highly recommended, five stars ***** !

The metal rods are all hollow, the woods are all composite boards, making this shelfs very lightweight. You will need something heavy to put on the bottom to kind of stabilize the shelf a bit. I do want to say that this shelf is very spacious and have a lot of room to put all kinds of books / things. Overall not a bad shelf as long as you have something heavy to put on the bottom

This slim metal tower with wooden shelves can hold over 40lbs. per shelf. Works out great against the bare wall in my pantry. I can stack over 20 canned goods per shelf and see everything I have on these open shelves, as opposed to having items stored away in the back of cupboards. Too many things were expiring when out of sight and out of mind. This is a much better way to keep things organized going forward. The shelf stands up straight against the wall, no wobbling. Very impressed with how much I can store on this shelf tower!

This bookshelf was fairly easy to assemble. It's a little smaller than I expected, but still looks nice. Once I started to put some weight on it, it became a little wobbly. Although attractive, I think the thinner material cheapens the look. It's an "okay" bookshelf but nothing more than a bookshelf.
