The curtains worked well in my guest and master bedrooms. They were easy to hang, sheer but still provided some privacy, and really dressed up the room. I had to iron them, but that was not a big deal. With a small hem, they will be perfect. I don't think really expensive curtains would have made a difference. My only complaint is when I received my second order, the box was open and it looks like the curtains may have been repackaged, and not very well! Thankfully there was nothing defective. I ordered two pair of these in “White” with the simple pocket casing for my French return rods 11/2. I needed another set and went to my orders and found the previous one and placed my order from that point thinking I would get the exact same item. Unfortunately the curtains arrived in an “Ivory or Taupe” color. Sent those back and went to the actual Amazon page to order another set again in “White”. The new curtains arrived and I could tell from the pkg that they were the right color🤗 Fast forward two weeks when we are ready to hang the curtains and upon opening the pkg realized they sent the right color but wrong style! No where in the description does it even give you the option to choose a hanging style. So now I’m waiting again for another set to arrive. I couldn’t go with another vendor because I already had two pair and because they will be visible to each other, needed the same. This is just information from my experience, the curtains themselves were just what I needed and happy with. ... show more
