Description

Flylow wanted to offer a lightweight, backcountry-oriented ski bib, for those that love the Baker Bib, but not as their daily driver on the skintrack. What they came up with was the Men’s Smythe Bib. Made using Intuitive Perm fabric, the Smythe is highly breathable and stretchy, while still offering the waterproofing you need to stay dry on long tours. All of the pockets can be easily accessed while wearing a harness or pack, so you can never miss a sunrise selfie from your latest dawn patrol. Of course, Flylow also included reinforced cuffs, articulated knees, and cross-flow venting, just to remind you why their ski pants are the best.

I personally got this because I'm a dude who likes pink lol. I'm about 5'10 weighing in at 190lbs and I'm a bodybuilder. My legs are bigger than average so medium would have been a perfect fit because there wasn't too much tightness around my upper body, but my thighs fitted a bit into the lower half of the bib. Large for me, giving extra leg room, and now the upper body is a tad bit big for my aesthetics. But I know once I put on layers it'll be Gucci. My only concern will be the zipper for where you stick your eggplant out to pee. The zipper opening is small. And I'm not packing a mandingo either so yeah... Luckily, the suspenders for the bib can be detach so you can open the side of the bib and lower it down so you can pee. As others have mentioned, the sizing is odd so whereas I’m a pretty typical “Large” for these bibs I’m a Medium and without room for a beer belly. After ordering M and riding a half-dozen days now, they’re all I hoped for. Super warm and waterproof

    • Why did I wait so long?

Best purchase this snow season and I should not have waited so long to purchase a snow bib because it’s the best for all conditions. I tried on a few at local retailers, including this one but they didn’t have black, so I found it on Amazon. I bought the XL and it’s fine for me but they seem to run a little small. I’m 6’2”, 205 lbs and 36” waist. It would be tight if I gained 20 lbs and seems to fit about how I think a Large would but today’s day and age things seem to be “slim fit”. I love the pockets ams ventilation. The cell phone pocked is too small for the iPhone 13 Pro Max but would be perfect for the non-max version. That is my only complaint. More color options and Recco would be cool too. ... show more

After extensive research got these and wanted to love them. Their going back unfortunately, due to strange fit. They are built well,( heavy compared to arcteryx) The small zippers even with the little strings are problematic to find when wearing goggles, helmet ,gloves. Ykk would have been a better choice in my opinion. Bought a large and knew they may be a little long, (had the suspender adj. over my shoulder) but the restricted bib area along with the lack of a two way fly and a little long was too much to deal with at this $. Mostly the restricted bib is why I sent them back. I'm 5'7", 31" inseam, 43" chest and 177 /180 lbs. IMO if your 5' 10" and no more than 165lb max they should fit well. ... show more

First off I do want to say the bibs are great quality. Read the reviews and ordered a size up so it wasn’t too tight in the chest. Legs are like parachute pants. Fit is bulky all around, wasn’t what I was looking for. The reason I am giving 3 stars is the color was soo off from the advertised photos. I was expecting a mustard yellow (Rye) and got dark khaki. Returned because it was so far off from what I was expecting it was laughable. Be sure on the color before ordering. Can’t say it’s like that with the other colors, but definitely is for the Rye. ... show more

Appear to be a great ski bib. Excellent reviews and second hand accounts. The left bib buckle was broken when it arrived, they also fit a little large. I returned them for those reasons only. Flylo is sold out! Look forward to ordering another pair ifthey come available
