I'm a 5'2" skiier. The last time I bought a pair of ski pants short lengths were unheard of, so these got me pretty excited. THEY'RE PERFECT! The material inside and out, the quality of construction at all the zippers, snaps, and seams are really solid. The gators underneath fit great over my boots, then the outer layer zips over everything just right. PERFECT length. I would call these mid-rise at the waist. Not high and grazing your ribs, not way low on the hip bones either. I do not have a curvy/hourglass shape and for me, these are a perfect "straight" fit. Not curvy, not skinny. I usually wear size 8 or 10 jeans, and these are perfect in a size 10. I could definitely get thin thermals/tights under them, but I could not comfortably get a thicker pair of sweats or joggers under there. The neoprene-type outside fabric is substantial, but no stiff. It's a nice thickness and has a bit of stretch as you'd expect. The fleece that is bonded to it on the inside is delightfully soft, and I'm sure it will be warm. For spring skiing, maybe too warm? Not too bulky and warm. Well made. Look nice. I’d order 1 size up especially if you are going to put a base layer underneath. Glad they come in a short inseam because I’m 5’1”.

This product worked out well, just as I planned. I bought one size larger, with hopes that it would slide over my joggers early in the cold hours of the morning when I walk the dogs. They fit over my pants perfectly, comfortably, and stayed up well. The material is nice, like more expensive pants, and the inner material is soft. I took a star off only because they are very long. I’m 5’5, but I had to make a big cuff on these. They cuff well, with first cuff of the outside material, and second cuff of the (comfortable) elastic part holding the entire cuffed bottom well. I don’t care what they look like at this time of the morning when all I am doing is walking the dogs right outside of my house, but maybe I’ll hem them when I get a chance. I like the white with black pattern. It runs big, so the pattern hides the looseness of it. There seems to be a waterproof coating or some sort of neoprene bonded to fleece. Good on cold days. The fleece lining is great when it's cold, but the pants may be too warm for spring skiing. These pants have a lower rise, which may not be comfortable for everybody. Other features are nice.

I ordered a size 4 and size 6 because I wasn't sure of the fit. The size 6 came first and I found them a little tight. They have 30" length, which is perfect. I normally wear a size 4 in jeans, but since the 6 is snug, I cancelled the order for the size 4. They are nice and lightweight with a fuzzy lining. They are not as thick and bulky as other ski pants. They kept me warm, but it was not really that cold when we went skiing. ... show more
