What I like: The flygeneral Push Up Board, Foldable Pushup Bar offers great flexibility for working specific upper-body muscle groups. The portable unit has a small footprint and it only takes seconds to fold it up and store it out of the way. The color-coded design is helpful in terms of switching the handle positions for varying my workout routine. The device appears to be fairly sturdy. Even though the unit is not bearing my full body weight of 214 lbs, it appears to support my upper-body weight just fine. Tip: The handles can tend to get stuck in the various positions of the board, but applying some simple bee's wax has totally resolved this issue for me. What I don't like: The handles could definitely use some padding, but I just haven't gotten around to addressing the problem. I suppose I'll acquire some foam rubber or something similar, as the handles are uncomfortable enough that my hands give out well before my working muscles are even close to exhaustion. Also, as I mentioned previously, the handles can tend to get stuck in the board, but in light of my simple solution to the issue, I am still fairly satisfied with the product. Pushup board works perfectly to do workouts at home. It allows to have wider ranges during pushups by using handles. Changing directions of handles puts loads on different groups of muscles. Very useful for days when one is short on time for going to gym.

If you’re new to fitness, or you’re just looking for a way to effectively work your upper body, the flygeneral push up board will suffice. This board is a roadmap to get the areas that you want to target in shape. It almost reminds me of the Twister game, because it tells you where to place your arms for each area of concern (i.e. shoulders, chest, triceps, back), and everything is color-coded so you will know which areas to work. There are several positions that will give you a pretty cool workout quickly. If you travel a lot and look for ways to work out when you’re away from home, this would be a good alternative. It travels well and won’t take up much space - easily fits into a bag. The board is made of a hard plastic. It folds in half and has two removable hand grips that, when used often, will cause pain in your hands. If there was padding on them, they would be more comfortable. The information on Amazon states that it can hold up to 300 lbs in weight. I can’t vouch for that, though. The one thing that I don’t like is on Amazon you’re shown a picture of 4 areas that are color coded that you can target, and your back (being noted by the color green) is one of them. On the actual board, the only colors are red, blue, yellow and white. No green. Not even on the little informational sheet that came with it. Also, the photo on Amazon showing those same colors, are not as the colors are on the actual board. How confusing. ... show more

Before i get into the bad aspects of this product, I want to touch on the good part. The center has a folding mechanism which makes the whole board half height. Now onto the bad: The plastic feels too thin and is about half the thickness of other brands I've tried. The machining on the holes is bad, causing the handles to stick. This makes it hard and awkward to switch between settings. The graphic on the board is confusing. They placed a picture of the muscle group but it's unclear. A text label would be a lot better. The grips themselves feel very cheap and unfinished. There is no additional padding added; the handle is just one mold. Overall I was not pleased with this product. It is usable but for the price I think there are higher quality options. ... show more

I recently gave my husband a similar board that was a little more in price that my husbands nephew tried out (he is around 12) and absolutely adored it. It broke his heart when we took it home with us, so what a better birthday gift then his own push up board!? I know a lot of people have been saying that this product feels cheap and to a full grown adult it might feel that way but for my purpose of this product it is going to a soon to be teenage boy who has many years to build muscle and to use this board for many years to come. I think people are mostly afraid of the weight you are putting on this board, it does feel like the plastic can break and depending on the surface you lay this board it does not feel sturdy. However, again for my own personal purpose of this board it seems perfectly stable, we have used it on carpet, dirt, turf. I definitely do not recommend putting this board on a slick surface like hardwood floors or waxed floors because this will slip out from under you and cause injury. The handle bars seemed to slid in and out of each slot with not a whole lot of resistance when my nephew was using this board, there were a few times he went to move slots and the board did come up with the handle but then released and fell back down to the floor, again it was not a huge inconvenience for us. Again this kid can do anything, he is a physical champ, anything that test his limits he is game for and this product has been one of the greatest test for him that he can continue to use throughout the years. Again for my own use, this is perfect to keep our nephew entertained, exercising, and challenging himself which he loves so this product has definitely been a 5 star for sure. ... show more
