This set is great for beginners. I’ve been playing pickle ball for a while and have gone through numerous paddles and balls with the diminishing funds to prove it lol. The paddles are light weight with a comfortable and well constructed grip. I really love the colorful design on the paddle as well, it is very vibrant and pleasing on the eyes. The balls included are of good quality. They feel like other pickle balls I’ve used, maybe a little cheaper but they hit nice and I can get a good spin when needed. The bag is a nice touch as I actually needed a new one. The straps and material doesn’t feel flimsy or like it might tear. I ordered this pickleball set to send to my son and his friends in Germany. They joined the military at age 18 and have been there for a year. I consider the 19-year-olds still wet behind the ears. It must be a hard thing for them to leave their families for the first time and get sent overseas. I wanted them to have something to do so they could "play" and have fun.
