I was just at target the other day and they have a pair of shorts VERY similar to these and selling them for $60... no way. The quality of these are great and very flowy/comfy. They do have a very defined waist, with stretch, but if you prefer a looser fit I would size up 1. I am 5'3 ~140 lbs give or take and the medium fit fine for me. I had ordered a small in a different color but it was too tight on my waist and showing a little bit of cheek, but not bad. They run big bc they are very stretchy- I sized down 3. The lighter colors shouldn’t bleed, mine was light purple and did fine in the whites laundry. The pocket is kinda small but still convenient

These shorts are short, but the frill gives a bit more coverage. They are very soft and flattering. I saw another post that said the color bled when washed so I hand washed it separate and there was a little bleeding but not too much!
