The media could not be loaded. 5 foot 1. 210 pounds. Size 16 typically. I would purchase these again and likely will be purchasing another few colors. They are super soft and allow plenty of air flow for my ladies who are always hot. The shorts feature a nice drawstring tie, so I am able to tighten them. I did purchase a 2X but could have done an XL however I have thicker thighs and a bigger butt, so I like to size up in shorts to help prevent showing too much of the cheeks and to allow more stretch in the under shorts. However, these are super stretchy so I feel those teetering could get away with an XL. I feel free to bend over because the shorts underneath provide added security. The only issue I can see is that they tend to ride up in the front, so I think thigh chafe may be a problem. Disney approved length in my opinion.

The shorts are super light weight and flowy. Yes they do have shorts under but they are short so you will chafe if you don't use anti-chafe balms, especially if your thighs rub like mine do aka thick thighs lol. They're nice, I'd buy another pair!

I like that you don’t have to worry about pulling them up/down or constantly checking to see if they’re revealing too much (in front or back) like with tighter workout shorts. I was very excited to see these shorts as I tend to be a skirt girl, but wanted something for more physical activity. These shorts featured a stretchy, fitted liner with flowy fabric over the top. They came in a beautiful shade of light turquoise, so I decided to give them a try. They fit beautifully although the inner fitted material liked rolling up. But that is something that happens with most fitted items so I could live with it. They felt so light and soft. Absolutely loved how it felt against my skin. They’re very breathable and look great while working out. I was smitten and ready to buy many more. But after the second wash, as you can see per my picture- the ends were fraying already. I can’t see myself investing more money on shorts that can’t handle two washes. I will look for something similar with another brand.

These shorts are super flattering, feminine, and very comfy. One of my main struggles with cute short shorts is coverage: my hips and thighs are pretty wide and I usually have to keep tugging and tugging or I'm literally hanging out of them, even if they fit my waist perfectly. For reference, I'm 5'5, 135-140 lbs, 27 inch waist, 38.5 hips. I'm normally a 27 or 28 in jeans and order mediums for athletic bottoms. I followed others' advice and sized up to a large and it fits exactly how I wanted! The waist is nice and snug without being too restrictive and I have enough coverage on my rear that I don't feel like I'm falling out. I could have probably gotten away with a medium but I think they would have been a little too tight for my taste. They're great for lounging and working out! Definitely going to order more colors.
