Description

Give your truck that rich, deep, aggressive rumble that you can feel inside and out, while experiencing the Performance Exhaust difference. The Flowmaster Super 44 (9430452) has a richer, deeper sound than the original Flowmaster 40 series, constructed with double Vs of equal size, rather than the single V of the original 40 series. The Super 44 is Flowmaster's highest-performing street muffler, boosting torque, horsepower, and airflow. This is an aggressive- sounding muffler from both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Our top- seller! Our Dual Exhaust kits contain premium 2.5" pipes, with superior- quality mandrel bends that will improve the exhaust flow for boosted power and fuel economy. Our pipes are aluminized to increase lifespan and durability, and are exclusively custom-bent for us in Springfield, MO. These pipes exit under the rear of the truck, parallel with the outside edge of the frame rail. They are designed to clear the OEM-installed receiver hitch and OEM-sized spare tire. The tailpipes are cut into two pieces for shipping, and swedged for easy slip-together assembly. Our system is designed to fit all wheel-base applications, simply trim the tailpipes to fit. This basic kit includes everything from the muffler to the bumper with stylish WELD-ON 18” Chrome Tips. Fits: 1988-2018 light- and medium-duty gas models of Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Dodge Ram & Ford F-Series EXCEPT '04-08 Ford. Fits only gas applications; fits only applications that came factory with a single inlet muffler! Only the muffler is made by Flowmaster. Please be aware: THIS IS NOT A COMPLETE DIRECT FIT KIT. These systems are to be installed by an experienced, professional installer. FABRICATION MAY BE REQUIRED. Any type of suspension modification/wheel and tire altercation may affect system clearances. We DO NOT provide any portion of the exhaust in front of the muffler. Additional parts & fabrication may be necessary and is to be determined by the installer.

So I would recommend if painting writing on the inside of the pipe what end go's where. I made that mistake. With my background in the automotive industry. It was a easy fix. The pipes were not thin cheep pips. Everything fit together like a glove. I did paint mine flat black. I also welded it together. Lot less to worry about. 2014 F150 5.0. Good quality for budget minded. You need to have a little help from a regular shop guy to build this so it will last for years under your truck. Flowmaster has a great sound. Buy the set without the exhaust tips, shop for exhaust tips that you want and look good for your truck. If you cut out the resonator its gonna drone till your fillings fall out and then its gonna drone some more. You can buy an aftermarket resonator to replace the factory one. A 30 dollar glasspack does the same thing. ... show more

I installed this on my 1995 F150, took about an hour. Plenty of hangers and clamps to get the job done. The chrome tips flaked a little after a couple of weeks, but they still look good and they sound great, gives it a nice tone, but not obnoxiously loud. I definetly recommend this

Out of the box, it wasn’t a perfect fit for my 03 F150 (which is stated in the fine print so I knew that going forward ) With a little tweaking of the pipes, installation was pretty much straightforward. 2006 Dodge Ram 1500.. 4.7 v8.. This package is almost perfect for this truck. I had a single exhaust that came off the passenger side. It is now dual exhaust coming out the back and it sounds and runs great. There will be some slight modifications in terms of clamping/anchoring that you apply. You can get creative, But just go to auto zone and buy a couple extra C clamps 2 1/2 inch, and some tail pipe strap with the holes in it, and you can put this on with nearly no welding. The only welding I did was the tips. I highly recommended for Dodge ram 1500 trucks. Remember, buy at least 5 extra C clamps and you'll see why.👍 ... show more

Installed on a 1999 Silverado.. everything fit pretty well, and was easy to install if you have some basic fabrication tools like a band saw and a welder for the exhaust tips. I had to cut my drivers side rear pipe to place the final bend further back to get the exhaust tips to line up.. I added a piece of pipe from the front that I cut off, and welded it up to get it to fit properly on my application ( could be because the muffler I replaced sits further back than the stock one probably did)… overall very happy with the quality ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The sound of this product is so clean and deep...I love it and it's not over powering in the cab but you can hear the deep rumble! Pipe is around 16 gage at a guess so good thickness. Good buy for sure! Took me about an hour and a half or so to install Only negative thing to say is the stickers are hard to get off but that's minor. ... show more
