It’s a high quality bag. I did some research prior to my purchase and hopefully my review will help others. First, my reason for buying this bag was to carry more items for work. It fits my 13” iPad Pro along with the case it’s in. Second, I just wanted something that would last longer and not look terrible when it ages. I could definitely tell it’s real leather. It’s thicker than my other leather bags, which are primarily cosmetic and not as functional. The hardware on the purse is beautiful and it doesn’t feel cheap. Third, I wanted a bag that was still pretty in shape that still felt like a purse. I didn’t want a big tote bag or luggage bag, so this fit those requirements. As for the downsides, and this can be a big one, it’s very glossy and shiny. I prefer matte purses, and most people probably do. HOWEVER, when I did my research, people said that the gloss and color would fade over time. It already has a nice patina, but over time it’ll look better. Most of my purses don’t tend to look better as it gets older. I will try to update my review in the future. The second thing that bothered me was the packaging. It was delivered in a bag, not fully stuffed inside the purse. My purse arrived fine, so it worked out ok. ... show more

This is a fine quality Italian handbag. I always go for the Italian leather. I have purchased quite a few on Amazon, but this is my favorite by far. If you do not like a large purse, this is not for you. It is fantastic. I could fit everything into this. It’s a little on the heavy side, but that’s because it’s such good quality. I have a new tablet which I can use instead of a laptop for work, and I decided a smaller bag would be a good idea for traveling, putting in lockers at research institutions, etc. The bag is of quality make, the leather is amazing, the stitching very well executed (a more expensive Frye bag I have I have to keep re-stitching), and the cotton duck fabric will last as long as the bag! It also fits everything I need to have, and the middle zippered pocket is just right to secure the new tablet. The handles fit nicely over my shoulder, so I don't use the cross-body strap at the moment. (May need to during winter, with bulky coats.) Definitely recommended. ... show more
