I got the mocha color in size 10.5. They fit me well, although they are a bit roomier than I expected. These shoes remind me of other times. Times when materials felt natural, when the sole and the upper were stitched together instead of simply being introduced to each other by a layer of glue, when shoes smelled like leather, and when the finishing touches looked manicured rather than merely acceptable. The smooth leather, soft lining and leather-covered cushioned footbed all contribute to that feeling. They are comfortable to wear, and the rubber outsole provides good traction while still keeping the shoe flexible. More importantly to me, the construction and finishing give the impression that somebody actually cared while making them. Of course, shoes made to the standards I remember still exist. Unfortunately, most of them have wandered into a financial neighborhood where my wallet refuses to follow. These are certainly not cheap shoes, but when I look at them, touch them and wear them, the quality is evident enough that the quality-to-price tradeoff feels right. I can report these are great shoes. My feet tend to run wide, but these were perfect. A nice mix of Office and city casual with a boot look that isn't too over the top. The material feels high-quality and I'm not concerned about it wearing too fast.
