These just arrived and I could not wait to open the box and try them on. An absolute fantastic fit! Thankfully, I have a pair of Florsheim oxfords, so I stayed with an 8-1/2, and the fit is superb. The leather is supple, not stiff at all. Love the padded collar (on the interior). They feel as though I could wear them for hours right out of the box! The side zipper made getting them on very easy, which is no small feat as I have a high instep. Looking forward to enjoying these for days to come. May have to pick up a brown pair!! Cheap, thin leather, fake leather lining, short cotton laces, very narrow fit for a medium width. Very disappointed. I've owned many pairs of high quality Florsheim shoes and boots for a very long time. These are not the same. The prices came down and the quality went out the window.
