Every time that I’ve ordered lighter colored blackout curtains I’ve been disappointed that they weren’t actually blackout curtains but I finally found some that are true to their description. They look very lovely and have a bit of a rougher/heavier feel to them that keeps them more in place with the overhead fan than my previous ones. There are two different ways of hanging these; however, if you try to hang them using the slot, the thickness and heaviness to the curtain doesn’t allow them to open all the way. If you plan on regularly opening and closing the curtains, it’s best to use the slats on the back of the curtains for hanging them.

This color of curtain is so pretty! It’s exactly as pictured. It is also does well at blocking out the light without being too heavy or without seeing the blackout part through the curtain. So they look really nice to the side of the window, while also looking nice when covering the window. I don’t know necessarily about the insulation and keeping the heat out, as I keep my curtains open during the day time, but with it being good at blocking out light, I imagine it helps to keep the heat out. They were slightly wrinkled from where it was folded up, but with my handy steamer I was able to take care of that quickly and without much trouble. Overall they are great quality and I would definitely buy again.

I have been needing to blackout my home gym when my nephew is over because he needs to take his nap in there and it needs to be very dark. I have blackout roller shades in there already but sometimes those just don't do enough. I ordered this set of curtains to flank the big window since light seems to creep around the edge of the window treatments. The color is a nice white, leaning a bit cool-toned. I wish it was a tad warmer of a white but that is always difficult to judge from photos online. Overall it looks nice and feels great. I will need to steam them but I am glad this problem has been solved. I would recommend these curtains.

I needed to replace our sliding glass door curtains because of fading. I don’t usually get ones that are thicker fabric like these are. I am really pleased with there ability to block out the sun. The room seems darker than the last set I had on there. They don’t quite reach the floor, which is okay, but I may add some hanging clips to see if it will lengthen them a bit. You can also hang them three different ways. I chose to use the loops on the back and they slide well in my curtain rod. They offer light blocking and are pretty at the same time. They don’t allow much heat through them so they have great insulating ability. They were easy to use. I threw them in a dryer with a wet towel to loosen the folds and wrinkles and hung them right up. So easy. Great quality curtains for a great price.
