I was a little skeptical, after reading some of the other reviews about it not assembling very easily. But it actually was super simple! Each piece has an edge on it already preassembled so you just need to pay attention to those. The corner pieces will have two edges and the sides will have one and then all you have to do is look at the picture on the back of the packaging and essentially match it up to that! Everything matched up perfectly! Although assembling several kits together was a little tricky, and they don’t match up perfectly, overall I’m very happy with the end of product! I got this for my little baby to roll around on in the living room and so far he loves it! You also can’t beat the price! ... show more

These are really well made. When walking on them you don’t notice they are “foam tiles.” If you put together just one set it’s extremely easy (they have the edges on the right pieces. Like a puzzle… find the corners first) if you were trying to piece together more than one (as I needed to do) more than likely will not get it looking seamless. Returning as it’s smaller than I imagined and since I’d need 4 or 5 sets, it won’t be seamless and it doesn’t look as good. ... show more

They are so fun and I absolutely love the end result. Like other reviews mentioned, the patterns do not align perfectly joining multiple packs together, but close enough if you put in a valid attempt. Don’t get me wrong it takes time but it’s like a giant puzzle. Very easy to clean.

Lol...so I have to apologize to the reviewer who said the pattern is impossible to match. I dismissed it as a possible user error. "They must not be good at puzzles," I thought. Besides, I'm buying this to go under a rug to provide extra cushioning, so that won't matter... scene fades to delivery day and I made the mistake of opening 5 packs and letting the kids have a go at this "puzzle." 20 minutes in, the kids are screaming, there are pieces all over and nothing matches: it kind of does but not really: either off by a lot or worse just a tinnnnyyyyy bit. I tell the kids to go play as they are at the end of their ropes. "I'll figure this out, just need some patience." Oh the hubris! 20 minutes later, me: "NOOOO!!! WHY??!!! WHAT SADIST DESIGNED THIS MAT PATTERN!!!" And so, to this day, this mat is still taunting me with its mismatched plaid lines underneath my lovely new rug. Don't be like me in assuming the designer was awake during the lecture on pattern design. The end. Oh, and the edges of each tile curl up a bit and the pattern vinyl laminate is sharp at places and 12"@ 3/8" thick is not substantial enough if you plan to do anything but walk gently on it or use it was a rug pad. I recommend buying the 24"x24" tiles for better utility. Now it's really the end, bye for now ;^) ... show more

This caught my eye and I knew it was what I wanted to cover a [concrete] utility room floor. I ordered enough to cover the square footage, thinking they would connect to one another and the spare pieces would fill in. Removing the edge pieces lets them fit like a jigsaw puzzle but the pattern doesn't line up. Since that would drive me crazy, I ordered another kit, left the edges on and just butted them up, then caulked the gaps where corners meet, holding them in place, and caulked the edges where the tiles meet the trim. These make the concrete floor softer and much warmer in winter. ... show more

I was skeptical of these because according to the other two reviews I figured they might be difficult to put together, like a puzzle. I put them together in the order they came out of the package & maneuvered them based on where the edge pieces were on each tile. Doing that made putting them together a breeze. Though connecting two packs together didn’t really work, i don’t think it looks bad side by side like in the photos. ... show more

These tiles seem well made and the design is cute, but it is dumb hard to match up tiles. You pretty much have to give up hope of having them line up exactly right. I was also expecting them to be bigger but that's on me I could have outlined one. We had to order twice as many + 1 extra
