  • 5 stars after 1.5 years
Color: Gray Size: 12"L x 12"W x 0.06"T
1.5 years later and giving 5 stars. No issues with these… they have stayed down well without corners coming up, are easy to clean, and they look great. They were easy to place down also.

  • Inexpensive & stylish but took me a long time
Color: Gray Size: 12"L x 12"W x 0.06"T
I decided to cover the existing blah contractor grade linoleum in our laundry room. As with a lot of DIY projects a lot of time involved is the prep - the cleaning, the moving of the items in the room, etc. After I had the room emptied and the floor & baseboards cleaned I decided how I would lay out my new tile design. Directions suggest finding the true center of the room and working out from that point. I decided to go with the visual center of the room as it pertained to my most frequently seen view into the laundry room. I also wanted the tiles to be centered as they were placed in between the washer and dryer. The walls in the laundry room and their corresponding corners are not true square so the existing linoleum with a square pattern (which was not installed on the diagonal) always looked crooked. That was why the third design decision I made was to lay the new tiles on the diagonal. That decision definitely caused the project to take a lot more time as far as all of the varying cuts required along the walls. Once I began the project I realized that at least 50% of the new tiles were dirty. They had a black dust and/or spots that needed to be cleaned. I was very disappointed in that. The next thing I realized was that about half of the tiles were cut incorrectly when they were manufactured. This particular tile design requires its edges to be exactly on center otherwise when you take the next tile that is on center there’s no way to line them up. I wish I would have ordered extra cases of the tiles so that I could have cherry picked the centered and the clean tiles to save myself a lot of headache. I found that using my dollar store breakaway blade box cutter was a very easy way to score the tiles. Then I would bend them and they would break along the scored line very cleanly in most cases. Are used my needle nose pliers a lot for the cuts that were difficult to get a cleanly cut edge. Overall I absolutely love the way it turned out it so does my husband. For the price I don’t think you can beat it the style upgrade, but it was by no means a 30 minute project. LOL it took me DAYS of working a few hours at a time. If I had it to do all over again I would probably spend the $20 on a linoleum tile cutter, the kind that look like a paper cutter with a sliding blade. I think that would have been a big timesaver for me. Oh and you will definitely need some kind of adhesive; the self stick isn’t nearly strong enough. These tiles are a very cool product. I tried a different adhesive tile design to line the bottom of my kitchen cabinets that hold the heavy duty appliances and I loved the result. Have fun with it good luck! ... show more

  • Ok but arrived stained
Color: Gray Size: 12"L x 12"W x 0.06"T
Easy to use & install. Disappointed that several had yellow stains on them when arrived, luckily I ordered more than needed.

  • Quality could be better
Color: Gray Size: 12"L x 12"W x 0.06"T
PROS: I had a hideous bathroom floor. This is a major improvement, especially if you’re not looking closely. Install took about two days (working after work) so not bad. CONS: cutting was hard, not only because the tiles are super thick, but because working around weird angles and door trim, etc. takes a while. Many tiles came with imperfections. We had to use liquid nails on several that wouldn’t stick (even though we did all the prep correctly). I do regret that because I think I’d like to replace the tiles at some point. The glue from the backing also sometimes comes up through the cracks and sticks to the top of the tiles, which we then have to scrape off. Overall, I kinda wish I’d just spent more money for a better quality product. But this gets the job done on a budget. I don’t hate it. ... show more

Color: Gray Size: 12"L x 12"W x 0.06"T
The media could not be loaded. Aw u can see I have had this tile since 2020, so it had changed in color over the years, due to high traffic with my 4 young alults at the time, so I just replaced in front of the kitchen walkway an in front of my stove, I highly recommend this tile it aligns perfectly it’s very thick, looks amazing an easy to cut With scissors a when it’s new it’s beautiful an bright, so please buy it it’s worth the money a time. PS my floors r clean, cuz i steam them, but u can see how new the tile was from how over time it changed, plus my lighting it’s very good in my kitchen. ... show more

  • Not renter friendly: looks great, difficult to cut, a nightmare to remove.
Color: Gray Size: 12"L x 12"W x 0.06"T
I thought these tiles looked great compared to the stained and cracked tiles on the apartment kitchen floor. As many have said, the patterns do not line up perfectly, you can rotate tiles to get it close. I felt when walking around, you couldn't even notice the tips do not align and the pattern is so busy, no one noticed. It was only when I was sitting on the floor. I put these on top of vinyl tile and they stuck right to it, didn't have any peeling issues. I did have a very difficult time cutting the tiles to get them to fit in small spaces. I had scissors, an exacto knife and a box cutter. it was impossible to cut a straight line. I even bought a T-square but that didn't help. Sure, I can draw straight lines but the pressure I needed to apply to cut the tile made it impossible to cut straight. Everything covered my floor for about 6 months before I moved out and it was a nightmare to remove the sticky stuff from on top of the existing tiles. Especially from the area where I stood the most (in front of the stove, sink, entry path to those areas), under the table or where it saw little to no pressure was not as much of a problem. I used 3 bottles of goo gone, acetone from the paint store, scrubbed with dawn and hot water. Threw away dozens of rags and sponges. The sticky goo got everywhere! It took days to get off as much as I could but my hands were covered in sticky stuff, since I was washing my hands often and wringing out the rag with the dawn, my sink was coated in sticky goo which was another issue I needed to resolve. It was a nightmare. I gave up after 3 days of trying and its still sticky. Looks great but will never recommend or use in a rental, only when covering up flooring you don't care about in the future. ... show more
