At $14.99, the price of this floor gap fixer tool is completely unbeatable. The tool itself is exceptionally well-made—featuring thick, cleanly machined aluminum housing and a thick, soft, pliable rubber base. The vacuum locking lever operates smoothly and pulls a powerful grip that holds perfectly firm, making it an excellent tool to have on hand for snugging up separated LVP flooring planks or speeding up new installs. My only complaint is the free cleaning hook tool thrown into the box. It is constructed from incredibly thin plastic and flimsy, thin metal. It is so jaw-droppingly cheap that it actively cheapens the presentation of the entire kit. The manufacturer built a fantastic, rugged main tool here; they didn't need to degrade their own product quality I including the cheap junk. So ditch the freebie and keep the main tool, because the suction block itself is an incredible value

So the section cup piece is very well designed. It is simple to use and the working parts are made of metal so this is going to last the welds all like strong. It’s not going to break off mid-use, especially if you’re hitting it up with a hammer to move that flooring over I did mark down a star because the other tools are kind of cheaply made the grout and glue knife is plastic and I don’t think this is going to twist down much use. This does come with five smooth adhesive pads. You need to have a smooth surface in order to operate this so this pad needs to go down on the flooring first so that you can get a strong bond with that suction cup. You only get five of these so you have enough to do it a few times I’m not sure if they would be reusable so odds are you're going to have to purchase more but that’s not a big deal because the main part the suction cup works great functions as it should is strong and it’s gonna withstand a beating because it needs to. It’s also competitively priced so a good value for your money and my husband is really excited to be able to use this because he does floors and this is just something that is necessary for that so you don’t get big gaps in the flooring. You definitely want everything nice and tight because you don’t want water getting in under your floor or to have any issues in the future so I would highly recommend this this is something that would be a great addition to your tool to your toolbox. If you are a craftsman, you do floors you’re gonna love it.

I purchased this floor gap fixer tool to help close gaps between laminate flooring planks, but it did not work nearly as well as expected. The suction cup struggled to maintain a secure grip on the floor surface, making it difficult to apply enough force to move the planks effectively. While the aluminum handle feels reasonably durable, the overall performance was disappointing. The tool was not as easy to position and use as advertised, and it often slipped during repairs. As a result, pulling planks back into place required more effort than anticipated and produced inconsistent results. Although the construction appears sturdy, it was not particularly effective for fixing gaps in my laminate flooring. Overall, this floor gap repair tool did not meet my expectations. It may work in some situations, but in my experience it was not a reliable or efficient solution for correcting floor plank gaps.

Solid made metal tool. Tested it on a few different materials. Works on light textured surfaces. You need to use the pads for wood or natural stone. You only get 5 of them but the seem to be multi use so not a bad deal. This works great when you get lose to a wall and cant fit your block. Handy tool especially if you are doing a lot of lvp flooring.

I was skeptical at first, but this tool worked much better than I expected. The suction pad grabs the floor plank securely, and the handle gives enough leverage to move boards back into place without a lot of effort. It’s much easier than trying to improvise with other tools. The reusable sticky pads are a nice touch and help protect the floor while still providing a good grip. It feels sturdy, easy to use, and saves a lot of frustration when dealing with small gaps. Overall, a handy tool that makes floor repairs quick and straightforward.
