Great tool
This tool worked perfectly using the sticky pad . Tried without the pad at first but suction didn’t hold very good. Ended up moving 15 planks in order to hide the gaps at the wall trim. The planks were a thicker heavy duty waterproof Pergo that are a very tight lock all of the way around

product broke failed 1st use
the rubber cup tore and no longer held suction on the 1st job in the 1st 1-1/2 hour of using, was going to return it but the deadline was past.... so it sat until I need to use it and it failed... use gorilla 2 way tape and a wooden block ( i used a 8 inch piece of 4 x 4 ) and 3 strips of Gorilla tape. finished the job easier and quicker I do not recommend this and Amazon of coarse is not going to do anything either!So its a very bad deal for me!

Fix gaps on vinyl flooring
Worked well to close gaps on our floor, just make sure floor is very clean and no no dust on rubber disc.

Great idea
This tool does what it’s supposed to without a fuss. It's a great idea for adjusting plank flooring without damaging the surface, as long as your planks don’t have a lot of texture, in which case dampening the suction surface can help. It’s a good value for either a homeowner or a flooring installer. So far it’s durable with a good weight, sufficient quality to be easy to use,

Does not adhere to natural wood grain well.
Does not work on wood floors that are not totally smooth. We have hickory boards with a natural thin finish. Since the wood grain isn't perfectly smooth the rigid rubber suction cup does not adhere at all to the boards. It would need to have a much softer durometer rubber to adhere to boards that are not extremely smooth. This seems to be constructed will, and I'm guessing it would work well on smooth vinyl or wood with a thick smooth finish.

Promising Tool, but Our Old Hardwood Was Too Difficult
This floor gap fixer appears to be well made, and I think it has a lot of potential for the right type of flooring. We purchased it because we have a couple of planks in our dining room that have shifted over the years, and we wanted to see if we could move them back into place ourselves rather than hire someone to do the repair. Unfortunately, it wasn’t successful on our very old hardwood floors. We tried using the tool to grip and move the planks, but the suction simply wasn’t strong enough to get a secure hold on our flooring. I suspect the age and surface texture of our hardwood made it difficult for the suction to work as intended. That said, I don’t necessarily consider this a problem with the tool itself. I think it would have a much better chance of working on a newer, smoother surface such as laminate, vinyl, SPC, LVP, or newer wood flooring. The smoother the surface, the more likely it is that the suction will create the grip needed to move the plank. For someone with the right type of flooring, I think this could be a very reasonable purchase. It is considerably less expensive than hiring someone to make a relatively small flooring repair, and it is a tool you can keep on hand for future use. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t the right solution for our particularly old hardwood floors.

Not very good product. I won’t recommend it.
The Product is not what they describe. Not very strong. The suction cup doesn’t work. It doesn’t hold very well. I won’t recommend this product again.
