Works very well. Note: Make sure to use the clear sticky pads it comes with. I was impatient and attempted to use it without the clear pads and I about to threw it in the garbage right away. I then gave it one more chance but this time I used the clear sticky pads and it worked flawlessly.

I have several gaps in my laminate flooring and I was excited about using this tool to tidy up the installation. I was particularly drawn to the double sided 45 degree angled strike plate. Unfortunately, after only a few successful gap closures, the final hammer blow knocked the strike plate clean off the assembly. Y'all need heavy duty welds there to keep the tool from disintegrating under light use. Terrible workmanship.

Works great, exactly as described! I have a textured LVP so the included adhesive pads were a must to help the suction, but they worked perfectly to create a smooth surface. One tip I will add is set the tool up at the far end of the board away from the seam you are trying to close. Much more effective! All and all great tool! Highly recommend for anyone looking to close some gaps in their flooring!

I’m rating this item a three simply because it did not work for me, but that does not mean it won’t work for others. It is solidly built, and I like the fact that it includes everything you need, including a mallet and a tool for cleaning the gaps between the floor panels before you try to join them. Literally everything you need is in this box. You start by cleaning and preferably mopping your floor or at least wiping it down to ensure that you’re going to get a good adhesion. They include approximately a dozen pieces of large adhesive, tape-like material that you stick to the floor to give the suction cups something reliable to adhere to. While there is a finite quantity in the box, I found that you can remove these and reuse them several times as long as your floor was good and clean prior to start. While, this product is designed to be hit with the mallet on the 45° strike pads on either end which will result in forces being applied down and in the direction of the strike simultaneously, I found that it is also possible to strike it perpendicular on the side of the device. This, however, results in the suction cups, not holding as well and so it will slide with each strike. It is really designed to use those 45° strike pads on the ends. I found that I did not have any success trying to move floor panels and close horizontal gaps. This is likely because the type of floor panels I have are of the ones that require you to piece them together on an angle, and then snapped them into place. The snapping mechanism is likely preventing them from being able to be directly driven into place. I did have more luck in closing perpendicular gaps on the ends of the panels which leads me to believe that this system works, you simply need to have the right types of panels. I would use it on flooring if it was a simple tongue and groove system and did not require angular, fitting or snapping into place.

This tool worked great! I had a 2 cm gap between LVP boards that developed over time. I used the tool and the gap was closed within a couple taps. I attached it to the board that ended under moulding, so no visible gap due on the other side. No floor damage either. So glad I finally bought this tool!

Wow this tool works perfectly. I have textured wood grain floor plans, so I needed the adhesive pads that were included, but it worked perfectly. The included hammer is awesome and the clamp is super heavy duty metal. I almost called a repair guy but lucky I took a shot on this product, fixed 4 floorboards in 10 minutes
