I wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do, but it's been a really practical upgrade. The lift is super smooth and doesn't jerk or feel flimsy when going up or down. Once it's set, it stays very stable—even with my monitor and a laptop on it, there's no wobble while typing. Setup was also easier than I thought. The instructions were clear, and I had it ready to go in under 5 minutes without needing extra tools. I like that the surface is spacious enough to hold all my daily work gear without feeling cramped. Overall, it just makes switching between sitting and standing effortless. Definitely feels like something I'll be using every day—worth it.

I love this. Super easy to setup, just squeeze the handle and gently pull the desk up. This is exactly what I was looking for. It sits on top of desk. It is large, but that’s what I wanted. The height is adjustable which is nice.

This is a good little standing desk converter. The 32 inch riser gives me enough space for my 17 in laptop, which measures 15 inches across and an additional moderately sized monitor on the top shelf. I put my wireless keyboard and mouse, a notebook, and my phone on the lower shelf. I love that there's a little ledge on the shelf where my phone can be propped up against. The riser was very easy to assemble; the only problem I had was seeing the spots underneath the top to screw in the shelf, but that's more because of my eyesight than any issue with the assembly. The lever to raise and lower the shelf is easy to engage and the desk rises quickly and easily. Putting it back down into its lowest position is a bit more difficult, taking a bit of muscle to push it down. Still, it's fairly easy to raise and lower the desk converter. It's a pleasure to use and it's great to have the option to stand to work or play at the computer when I've been sitting too long. I've only been using it for a couple of days but it seems mostly sturdy. The only thing I would change is the weight limit on the lower shelf. 4.4 pounds seems ridiculously low. I can't even put my laptop on it since it weighs 5.7 pounds. It also makes me nervous to actually use my keyboard and mouse...how much do keystrokes or my forearm add to the weight placed on the shelf? Surely this could be made to hold say, 15-20 pounds, instead of 4? I'll use it and hope that the weight limit won't cause me a problem. For now, I'm liking it.

The flexispot standing desk converter is an adjustable desktop. There is both an upper desk shelf as well as a lower shelf. In my opinion, the top shelf can fit one large monitor, or two smaller monitors. The lower shelf can accommodate, in my opinion, a couple of keyboards, and still allow space for office supplies or accessories. The primary purpose of this adjustable desktop is for people who would like to either stand or minimize their work area, while using their computer. This standing desk converter can be used on top of a table, countertop, or even another desk. Its adjustable heights are a great feature. I was impressed of how sturdy and well built the quality of this product is. I believe the reinforced steel frame and thickened square tubes definitely attribute to the stability of this desk riser. It has a mechanical spring system which is activated by a lever on the right, and moves up and down quite easily. I ordered this desk converter in black and, after completing the minor assembly, I was quite impressed by its appearance. However, I noticed that the black finish easily shows fingerprints and smears. As a result, I found myself frequently wiping the desk with a soft microfiber cloth. There are two additional cord straps included to control the location of wiring. You peel and stick where your desired location is, and strap your cords securely. I do appreciate these cord straps. It was very easy to put together with only eight screws and a hex wrench that was included. I work from home more than anywhere else, and I can only sit for a certain amount of time. I discovered the flexibility of this standing desk converter to be exceptional. I found myself utilizing it on top of my kitchen counter more than anywhere else, and easily adjusting it to a perfect height for myself. OVERALL… I firmly believe this standing desk converter is more than enough for someone who wants the convenience of switching between a seated and standing position effortlessly. I recommend this product; I was thoroughly satisfied with it, and I’m confident you’ll be too. The price is quite reasonable, and the quality is definitely appreciated.

This is my second 32" Flexispot standing desk converter. The first one I purchased for myself. This second one was a gift to a family member. The stand comes very well packed in a factory box that is reinforced with Styrofoam inserts and is 80% assembled. The manufacturer provides all the tools needed for assembly, along with an instruction manual. Tie wraps and stickable tying points are also provided for cable routing. The end result is a two level stand where you can park a laptop, monitor, keyboard, and a mouse for use either seated or standing. I have a large screen laptop so, instead of a monitor, I place the laptop on the top level and the keyboard and mouse on the lower level. Note that the lower level is completely removable using two tension tabs located on either side of the riser. Moving from sitting to standing and vice versa is accomplished simply by pulling upward on the lever to the right and gently pressing down or pulling up on the riser itself. Movement up and down is smooth and easy. The raising/lowering mechanism is black painted tubular steel with all steel hardware, making for a durable lower unit. The surfaces are a semi-smooth 10 mm thick (just shy of 1/2") Formica-like material. I recommend a keyboard with rubber grips on the bottom, and although you can use an optical mouse directly on the Formica surface, a small mouse pad is recommended. Note that you may want to attach furniture pads on the bottom of the riser base to protect your desk/furniture. The price point is amply competitive, and is a great way to relieve back pain from constant sitting as well as keeping the lower body muscles active and burning calories while you work.

I recently ordered a standing desk from Flexispot as they are touted as one of the best price to performance / quality ratios in the segment by many reviewers. I found this to be true in my use case as I work from home and need the alternating standing and sitting to keep back / sciatic issues at bay. I really like the quality of my old desk, and plan to use it in another area of the house. By ordering this 32" standing desk converter from Flexispot, I was able to not only keep a quality desk but double its functionality and usefulness for my entire family. Whether it's my work laptop, my daughter's school laptop, or my personal MacBook - this converter allows us to use the lower shelf for the laptop (or full-size keyboard and mouse) and utilize either a larger single monitor or smaller duals on the monitor stand. This has become even more important as my wife recently received a promotion and needs a workspace of her own for any afterhours tasks. Operation and adjusting is very smooth and fast. So far, we have not experienced any wobble or perceived unsteadiness. Transitioning from sitting to standing and back is simple and low effort. Returning to my prior remarks about Flexispot, this standing desk converter also seems to be a great quality option at a much lower price point that much of their competition. Until they give me a bad product, I'll continue ordering Flexispot products for our home office needs.

I got this thinking it was a desktop riser. This is in reality more of a desktop riser for a screen and keyboard while you’re standing than a true desk. It works fine for setups that allow the person to stand while they work. The weight limits become noticeable quickly once you start adding heavier monitors, monitor arms, speakers, or denser office gear. Which is why clearly this is not a desk but a riser. It supports 33 lbs up top and the keyboard tray only 4.4 lbs, so this feels better suited for a simple monitor-and-keyboard arrangement rather than a full workstation. It is great looking but because of what it’s for, the wood surface feels fairly cheap. It looks decent from a distance, elegant even, but the materials definitely look more like budget office furniture/equipment than premium workstation quality. That said, setup is easy, the height adjustment mechanism is smooth, and for basic sit-stand use it, it doesn’t take much space and you can commute at ease. But yes, not a desk, but a compact standing riser, not even a heavy-duty standing desk.
