    • Solid desk, some design changes would make it excellent

For this price point, this is a very good desk. The mechanism moves smoothly, I have a nice amount of work space, and it does what I need it to do. Assembly is okay. The parts are labeled well, which I appreciate. They give you a 'screwdriver' but it's really not. It's a tiny allen-wrench sized screwdriver, and it hurts your hand after about 2 screws. In some places I could use an electric screwdriver, in other places it wouldn't fit and I used a regular screwdriver. In a couple of places (the 'drawer'), nothing was going to fit. The 'drawer' holder is very poorly designed. Bend the metal into the shape, doesn't tell you which direction it should face, and when I tried to screw it in - you have to use the tiny screwdriver that hurts your hand and you can't see it. No thanks. I just left it off. Last issue with assembly - when I went to tighten the crossbar nuts, on the last set, they just fell in. I don't know how it happend, but they disappeared and so that isn't tightened. Desk still seems to work, but it was a disappointment. They include ties to keep your cords tidy, and I appreciate that. But the power box sits closer to the desk than the floor, but there is no way to mount it on the desk. So it sort of hangs, which seems like it will eventually damage the power box. I have it sitting on a foot rest under my desk, but I think long term I'm going to get some 2-way tape and mount it to the underside of the table so it isn't constantly pulling weight down. All that said makes it sound worse than it is. Truly, I like the desk - it moves quickly, quietly, and smoothly. It's a big surface space. Those were my two requirements, and on those aspects I'm quite pleased. So, good desk, great moving mechanism, assembly was okay, and the 'drawer' was a total bust. I'd give 4.25 - 4.5 stars if I could! ... show more

I love my new desk, it’s exactly what I wanted except for the sharp edges where your fore arms touch when typing. The edge digs into my arms and I have not found a solution yet. I have tried using a towel but it gets in the way and falls off. I’ve tried letting my mouse pad fall over the edge and that helps some but then my mouse isn’t on the mouse pad when I’m typing and I have to have 2 of them, one for each arm, and, they fall off too. The desktop needs a better design with rounded edges for comfort, I should have to buy something after the fact, that in my mind is a big design flaw. ... show more

Wow, wow, wow. I've never used an adjustable desk before. The ability to adjust the height is incredibly useful. The desk itself is well made and has all the features of the high-end desks, as to high weight-lifting capacity, and high-end electronics and display panel. I have nothing negative to say about this desk. Great product. Would buy again. Had question for the company, and they got back to me right away, so great customer support. When I first got this desk, one of the motorized legs was broken and not moving (broken gear). So I contact the company and they quickly responded and sent a replacement. So far, I'm very happy with the desk - it's very sturdy. If you run into any problems, the customer service is excellent.

Setup was a bit long but easy. Instructions were easy to follow. The tabletop comes in 4 separate pieces and is attached together with a bunch of flat brackets, but the rest of the parts were pretty standard for standing desks. It comes with a tray to help with cable management, and some hooks that can be used to store headphones. The desk itself is sturdy. I was initially concerned about the 4 separate tabletop pieces but after assembling it doesn't seem like a real worry. The tabletop pieces are fairly thin but feels dense. The two tone color is a downside to those who may care about aesthetics, the grey marble part doesn't look that great and I'd prefer if the whole thing was a solid black. The functionality comes with what you'd expect from a standing desk. You can program up to three height presets to memory. There's also a reminder function to sit or stand, which is basically a timer that'll ring after the set minutes you enter. It's not something I'd use but it's a nice addition. It also seems like there's some safety features built in, in case a cable gets caught or the desk hits something on the way up or down. I had a cable that wasn't long enough to reach a standing position, and when it got pulled while my desk was rising, the desk stopped moving and required me to reset the position before functionality was restored. This probably saved me from damaging some hardware. Overall I'm enjoying the desk a lot. ... show more

    • Good standing desk, not so good desktop material

Unfortunately, the desktop feels very thin (measuring at 1/2 inch thickness) and cheap. It has a slight dip in the middle though it's not too noticeable. If you are drawing or writing on it, it has echo and simply does not feel good to write on. Additionally, if you are a heavy typer, you might notice that your monitor and desk lamp might be vibrating or moving. The desk motors does a good job at carrying up/down my monitor, PC tower and laptop, although it seems to make noises as if it's struggling. if you want a budget standing desk and don't care about desktop material then this desk is great. Otherwise, it might be better to invest in another standing desktop with better desk material. Pros: - 63 x 30 inch desk with enough space - Desk can carry enough items - motors can move up and down easily Cons: - Cheap desktop material - Monitor might shake if you are a heavy typer - Questionable longevity of desktop ... show more
