I have a large head and really struggle to find hats that fit correctly. I have to have snapback caps unsnapped to fit properly. My fitted cap size is 7 3/4, but I also sweat quite a bit, so any fitted hat I buy shrinks fairly quickly to the point I can't wear it comfortably. My dad has a huge head. Almost all one size fits all don't get big enough. I embroider hats on my wife's machine sometimes and the hats my dad likes the most are flexfit. Especially this XXL size. The flexfit style are also easier to get in the hat jig and sew out good

Still usable but the XL is a bit small still. Maybe size up one? I cold not as I maxed out. I do think these are the same caps that NFL (and other leagues) use for their products?
