  • Sharp chisels
Fantastic tools and all are sharp and ready to use. I expect I'll have these for many years. You may think the price is a little on the high side but broken down piece by piece I think they're a good value

  • Great starter kit
I bought this set with an Automach power carver, then proceeded to abuse them in dirty, hard wood. There is a wide range of profiles, they're sharp and durable, and I completed my job. I have not yet sharpened any of them, but I have a feeling they'll sharpen well and hold an edge. They certainly have so far. ... show more

  • Usual flex cut quality
These are high quality blades for powered carving tools, much better than equipment provided by the manufacturer. You can expect the same high quality product as in their hand tools, which take a sharp edge and sharpen well

  • Great name brand product at a discount price
This carving tool set is among the top of the line available and the price was about 60 percent the price anywhere else.

  • Sharp and finished nicely also fit Foredom handpiece nicely.
Much sharper and better finish than Foredom chisels but fit Foredom hand piece perfectly. Would advise the hand grip in addition as it makes stropping or sharpening much easier. Not cheapest set I ever bought but likely will be last set I buy.

  • Great carving tools.
Flexcut tools are always welcome. Many many years ago I was buying Swiss carving tools and they are great tools but really pricey. Then my nephew got me a small set of Flexcut tools. Believe it or not, I was just thinking along the same lines of making some carving tool out of spring stock. They are great. Easy to keep sharp and carve really good at a more affordable price. I think anyone would like them. ... show more

  • Excellent quality
After using these blades on a reciprocating carver, I will not use any other brand. Period. They are excellent. However, they are still prone to breakage due to the hardness of the steel if used improperly (do not pry with them). Sadly, I broke one, but it wasn't the tool's fault it was the operator. The edge holds up very well in red or white oak. I love them, wish I had 3 sets. ... show more

  • Not overpriced at all, considering the quality of the steel, the sharpness, the utility, and the diversity of shapes.
This answered my need for periodic artistic endeavors. I am a woodturner; but now and then I need to add some embellishments to my work. These are sharp! They hold an edge. Of course, if you continue to use them, you will have to resharpen them, as with all quality woodworking cutting tools.
