I bought it originally for the warmth and because it said safe for car seat. It is NOT. The hood pushes baby's head forward and too bulky around her head as well. I had to put her in without it on and then with it on to see if it fit and it did fir but really tight on her. Cannot loosen the straps since it's not safe. So do not use in the carseat. Plus runs the risk of over heating.

I really like this bodysuit. It is very soft and comfy, my son seemed to like it. I like how you can turn the hand and feet pieces over so that they cover the fingers and toes. I don't feel like it's very stretchy though. I got the 3-6 month size. My son is 4 months old and fits in it good length wise.

The only downside is the left shoulder seam has popped already after only 2 uses for a total of less than 2 hours (baby in stroller on a walk, minimal movement/activity). We purchased this in a 3t for our 2 year old. Although it fits a little wobbly the length seems to be perfect. I LOVE the flaps on the hands and feet to keep the cold out but my favorite feature is the cinched hood! Buy this!
