This is a beautiful chair....but there are way too many flaws fresh out of the box!! I’m so disappointed because I waited for the item to restock and when it did the price had increased. Since I’d been eyeing it for some time, I ordered. I was so excited to receive it! I’m dismayed! There are so many snags and tears in the leather and scratches and tarnishing on the gold. I wanted to use the chair for a while to give an honest review. Although the chair looks nice, after using as an every day working chair for 6 months, it's not good. You can't lean back at all and the longer you sit on it the more it starts to lean forward. I have to keep rotating around to find the one spot that might not lean forward. If you just want a nice chair to go in your office for looks or just for aesthetics, perfect. DOES NOT make a good office chair long term. I'm already shopping for a new one. ... show more

This chair isn't the fanciest on the market, but I think it looks nice and gets the job done. I do believe you get what you pay for....therefore I'm not complaining too much about how difficult it was to put together. Still, it's something you might want to consider if you're short on time (or patience). Here are my top pros/cons: Looks: I love how this chair looks. It is very sleek. The white leather and chrome definitely are an update from the boring all black office furniture you usually see. The leather is also easy to keep clean. Spills can be wiped right off. Comfort: Overall, the chair is comfortable enough. In its natural state, it sits a bit on the orthopedic side but this is remedied through the adjustments and slight recline you get when sitting. It is made more comfortable by using a small lumbar pillow. This chair is the perfect size in my opinion. The width makes it comfortable but not so wide that it won't fit under most desks. The armrests have padding that makes working on a computer more comfortable. Installation: I've put together a handful of desk chairs in my life. None were quite as frustrating as this one. I had been wrestling with the screws that attach the seat to the back for thirty minutes when I had to get a second opinion. Thanks to my husband, I realized you have to put the two back screws in first and then pivot the chair to an upright position before putting the two front ones in. Without this order, it's nearly impossible to get the screws to fit. The directions did not say anything about this. I also had a difficult time in general because the holes that were cut into the leather did not match up with the holes for the screws. I ended up having to feel for the screw holes and cut the leather in order to be able to get to them. ... show more

I really wanted to like this chair, because it had the perfect "look" that I wanted, but after I sat in it, I soon realized that beauty is skin deep (even for chairs). Although it's advertised as having a thick seat cushion (3.15 in), the foam has no density to it, so when you sit in it, you feel like you're being swallowed up by the chair. The back cushion has zero resistance to it, as well, so when you lean back, it just completely crumples (it had a strange hollow feeling/sound to it). This is made worse by how close the armrests are crammed into the sides of the seat, causing me to have to kind of shrug in order to use the armrests (I'm not that big either--5'10" and 190 lbs). And so, owing to all this, I can't say I've ever felt claustrophobic sitting in a chair, however, if I had to choose a chair that did, this one would be it. Furthermore, in its natural state (upright and locked position), this chair forces you to lean slightly forward, making for an awkward sitting position, as you are constantly trying to push up from your legs in order to balance yourself. I don't think I've ever sat in a chair this uncomfortable, especially one that was designed for you to sit in for, supposedly, many hours to get work done. ... show more

This chair is extremely comfortable and very adjustable. I read in another review that the chair does not lean back, but I found that this was not the case. It is very easy to get the chair to lean back. It was easy to assemble. I've been sitting in the chair for quite some time and I think it's very comfortable. Such an amazing chair. Really comfortable, looks great and was easy to put together. I used a drill and an allen wreck bit so it took around 15 minutes. One part was kinda annoying (putting the second part of bolts in the arm rest) I just re aligned and it went in great. So happy I didn't pay attention to the other review ... show more

Really cute chair and very comfortable. It was put together correctly, although its tilted slightly to one side. Barely noticeable. Also it does ever so slightly move down a bit when i readjust the way i am sitting in it. This chair is not worth the $100 I paid for it, probably only worth about $50. I will not buy again, because I just bought it, and I am already thinking it will need a replacement in a year or so. Sad nothing lasts anymore. Side note: this was the third chair I puchased already for my office from various sellers ranging from $100-$170 and had to return the first 2.
